Extremeskins bought by the Commanders!

I will say this. The extremeskins website is technically ran very well. That site has had money behind it for a long time now. They have 3-4 site admins (not mods) who do work pretty regularly around there. They are paid to do this. Im not talking 20$ an hour either. They have done some outside contracting in the past for site updates and sql backend upgrades. That site is not cheap to run. No offense to Zone. This is a fine fan site and kudos to Reality.

Launching DCC in the past like I did taught me a thing or two.

But there is one thing.

They do talk about being the biggest and the baddest, but if you go through their member logs, they have litterally thousands of users with no posts.

It does make you wonder how much is inflated. There are times I can go there in the offseason and they are no more active than this board is.

I seem to remember that you can't view old Bang cartoons without being a registered member. That might have something to do with it.

Its a pretty good site its just that rediculing opposing tems fans is not only allowed but encouraged by some mods over there. And I'm not referring to the posters who go over there and try to start a flamewar, get banned and then come here to whine about it.

I do have to agree with some of you all though, I am worried about the personal level that site has been to me for the past year and a half now. We may get more insider info out of it, but we may also lose a lot, I hope it does not happen.

I am sure some of your concerns about how the board will change are the same as ours.

However if true to the way it has been presented to us, it will be incredible.

Either way its pretty exciting to know that a MB that I have been a part of for some time now will have the most access to my favorite team.

It wouldn't surprise me if Art was key in getting this done. He's a hard-*** on the boards, but he has proven to have connections and definitely cares enough about that site to make things happen.

Our mods already made it clear that there will be no censorship anymore then there already is. We can ***** all we want about the skins, whether snyder owns the site or not. That's the only reason Blade and them agreed to the deal. Ya'll are welcome to come over and check it out if you want. ; )
