Both of us have a chance to sweep an NFC East foe...

I will say that Week 11 is setting up to be a BIG one...I guess I don't need to tell you guys that!

I thought I would register here to share the rivalry with you guys...I do not want to be troll and plan on eating my crow if things don't go my way!

I do think it's good for football to bring back the BEST rivalry in sports...

I realize that we have hated each other a long time, but the I as many other Skin fans still respect you guys as a team...

Believe it or not....Alot of us were rooting for you guys to kick the crap out of the Patriots...(I know...I can't believe it either!)

They sure kicked the crap out of us in a HUGE way...

But as far back as our 2 franchises go,I would like to think that we share even a little respect for each other...

But the Patriots are a completely different matter all together..!I have hated that team since the tuck rule happened and my feelings haven't changed...

I will be rooting for the Giants and Eagles to kick their cheatin' butts!!

And I will be honest...If you're in the Superbowl and playing against anyone in the AFC,I will have to root against you....But if it's the Patriots that you are playing, then I will have your back!!

I would hope that you guy's would feel the same way!Patriots are a disgrace to football and it's fans and rivalries!

Good luck next week.. That was tough!

See ya soon and definately in Week 11!

Bigger game for us than you.
You are in no win situation. If you beat the Eagles, no biggie. If you lose then you will have to hear how Dallas is better and beat the pulp outta them.

Q: Why did France plant all those trees in Paris?

A: Because Germans like to march in the shade!

French War History

- Gallic Wars
- Lost. In a war whose ending foreshadows the next 2000 years of French history, France is conquered by of all things, an Italian. [Or at ths time in history, a Roman -ed.]

- Hundred Years War
- Mostly lost, saved at last by female schizophrenic who inadvertently creates The First Rule of French Warfare; "France's armies are victorious only when not led by a Frenchman." Sainted.

- Italian Wars
- Lost. France becomes the first and only country to ever lose two wars when fighting Italians.

- Wars of Religion
- France goes 0-5-4 against the Huguenots

- Thirty Years War
- France is technically not a participant, but manages to get invaded anyway. Claims a tie on the basis that eventually the other participants started ignoring her.

- War of Revolution
- Tied. Frenchmen take to wearing red flowerpots as chapeaux.

- The Dutch War
- Tied

- War of the Augsburg League/King William's War/French and Indian War
- Lost, but claimed as a tie. Three ties in a row induces deluded Frogophiles the world over to label the period as the height of French military power.

- War of the Spanish Succession
- Lost. The War also gave the French their first taste of a Marlborough, which they have loved every since.

- American Revolution
- In a move that will become quite familiar to future Americans, France claims a win even though the English colonists saw far more action. This is later known as "de Gaulle Syndrome", and leads to the Second Rule of French Warfare; "France only wins when America does most of the fighting."

- French Revolution
- Won, primarily due the fact that the opponent was also French.

- The Napoleonic Wars
- Lost. Temporary victories (remember the First Rule!) due to leadership of a Corsican, who ended up being no match for a British footwear designer.

- The Franco-Prussian War
- Lost. Germany first plays the role of drunk Frat boy to France's ugly girl home alone on a Saturday night.

- World War I
- Tied and on the way to losing, France is saved by the United States [Entering the war late -ed.]. Thousands of French women find out what it's like to not only sleep with a winner, but one who doesn't call her "Fraulein." Sadly, widespread use of condoms by American forces forestalls any improvement in the French bloodline.

- World War II
- Lost. Conquered French liberated by the United States and Britain just as they finish learning the Horst Wessel Song.

- War in Indochina
- Lost. French forces plead sickness; take to bed with the Dien Bien Flu

- Algerian Rebellion
- Lost. Loss marks the first defeat of a western army by a Non-Turkic Muslim force since the Crusades, and produces the First Rule of Muslim Warfare; "We can always beat the French." This rule is identical to the First Rules of the Italians, Russians, Germans, English, Dutch, Spanish, Vietnamese and Esquimaux.

- War on Terrorism
- France, keeping in mind its recent history, surrenders to Germans and Muslims just to be safe. Attempts to surrender to Vietnamese ambassador fail after he takes refuge in a McDonald's.

The question for any country silly enough to count on the French should not be "Can we count on the French?", but rather "How long until France collapses?"

Welcome but we don't buy that crap about you wanting us to be the Pats... not for a second!

Yes...I sure would!

It would be very difficult to do...but I would none-the-less...

I actually used to like the Pats, when they had Steve Grogen and guys back then...but this Patriots teams makes me sick...

The have won all 3 of their Superbowls by a FG (I didn't mind the win over Philly as much)...

It was bad enough when it seemed like they were getting all the calls and such! Now they caught cheating and for all we know, they have been doing this from their 1st Superbowl victory...

I may hate the Cowboys, but at least you guys earned every SB victory you got!You didn't have to cheat to win...

If it actually would take 2 teams to come together and unite(not too close brokebacks) to take out a team that is ruining the game like the Patriots, then I am in!

I just wish that somebody would break Brady's Neck and BB would retire,so I can go back to just hating the Cowboys and only the Cowboys....(ok...and the Eagles)

Until then..My hatred scale...

#1)Patriots
#2)Cowboys

Intersting that the French army outnumbered the German army in May of 1940 in almost every category of arms.

i understand your jealous about not having a qb but breaking the top qb's neck isn't going to make yours any better

And in French add's in 1947 for surpluse arms. "For sale: French feild rifles, never fired only dropped once."

Serious question to the original poster:

What's it like knowing that your team--historically and presently--is inferior to your rivals in every measure? It is annoying? Depressing? Invigorating?

Also, do you know deep down inside that your current team and QB both suck and are compelled to pretend otherwise for the sake of being a fan? Or is really impossible to spot the obvious?

Just curious.

Welcome.

As much as I hate to say it, if the skins go to the SB and played the Pats, I would probably root for you as well.

I'd have to to take a long hot shower afterwards, but I'd still do it.
Under NO circumstances would I EVER cheer for the Skins; even if Dallas had a playoff berth on the line!
*on a side note, my son's football team has a former Skin, Ron Saul, coming in tonight to run them through some drills, give them a pep talk, sign autographs (as if any of those youngins know who he is), etc. and my son PLEADED with me to let him skip practice because he didn't want to meet "a sorry, stinkin' Deadskin" (his words)! I almost wrecked my car I laughed so hard! :lmao2: He's definitely a full-fledged Cowboys fan...I LOVE IT!!!!!

Maybe the breaking neck thing was too much...My bad...Just a torn MCL/ACL and a career ending injury....

Wouldn't want to affect Brady's chances with the models...

As far as not having a QB...Oh...We got a good one...!Much better than Brunell...not worried about that...

He's got alot rust,but he'll shake it off...Hopefully in week 11!;)

But we got Philly to worry about now,so I won't get into our matchup yet....This week is gonna be interesting for sure!

Wrong, Skins fan. Our game is a big game for us. Your game is just another routine contest between two NFCE also-rans.
