FEATURED FA agent thread

Patrick Peterson is DONE. That’s one guy I’m happy we stayed away from. Now Jackson is someone worth pursuing.

Perhaps...but he had 3 INT's last season to go along with 61 Tackles and 8 PD's.....and sadly he is better than anything Dallas has but we will see what he does this season.

If they would have just cut Crawford last season they could have carried his 9 million over to this year and used it on Peterson.
I don't believe cap space is the issue. The Cowboys could have 50 million in cap space and still wouldn't have signed Peterson.
The Cowboys were free swingers from 1993 to 2012 in but, the last 8 years or so they have changed their philosophy to a very conservative low risk approach.
It could be argued that they should try to split the difference but, I like their current philosophy.

Is this to replace Fuller? Did I read right that Kyle Fuller was cut by the Bears? If I am correct I would seriously call him. Don’t know his contract but he would be good for us. With that being said Stephen and Jerry would tell us we made an honest effort but we like our guys so who am I kidding.

Fuller is/was one of the best zone guys in the league. I haven't kept a close eye on him the last couple years, but he could be a good get if he still has anything in the tank.

I think they have, but the Broncos/Vic Fangio are after him as well and I'm not sure the Cowboys will ever win a bidding war anymore.

I think your right but the good news is it is one less team that needs a corner in the draft if we are looking that way.
