I only looked at running backs of comparable skills. History says most backs leave the NFL not because they’re too old, but because they’re not good to make a roster. Most don’t make it to age 27. Point is good running backs can continue to play well into their 30’s. Barkley, Jacobs, Mixon, Henry were all good acquisitions by the teams that signed them. The Cowboys should have considered them.
Oh yeah...I'm not arguing the last line. Even among pro bowl RBs, I think Barkley and Henry are unicorns....but for sure Jerry The Old & Senile sure did drop the ball with his RB plan.

But at the end of the day, neither Henry or Barkley would have wanted to play on our trash team, where they'd get poundedbto dust play in play out. Barkley is running through holes you could drive a bus through in Philly...ripping of 50 and 70 yd runs every week. He's gonna want to run behind TYLER GUYTON? HA HA HA.
