Gurode, Bigg, and Kosier vs those guys, anyone?:

That's a tough front.

They have Vanden Bosch as well, right?

Read this tweet of the day re Fairly:

DanWetzel Dan Wetzel
Nick Fairly's entourage rolled 40 deep. Call Elias, that may be a NFL Draft record.

reason why we need to get a OG and then sign Blalock

Looks good on paper but it will be interesting to see if teams are able to pound the ball up the middle against the Lions. Normally when a 4-3 defense has a penetrating type defense tackle in the under tackle role they pair him with a space eater type defensive tackle to free him up. The two best best examples of this are the Buccaneers with Booger McFarland freeing up Warren Sapp and the Vikings with big Jerry Ball next to John Randle.

Suh and Fairley both have the ability to collapse the pocket but an obvious counter to that is a strong running game between the tackles. A few draws or delayed hand offs for big gains when Suh/Fairley get a little too aggressive will start to make them second guess themselves.

Our O-Line, newly added Tyron Smith will definitely get a challenge against Detroit. Wow. Kinda surprised the didn't go after Prince though, I thought it was locked.

Cancel the season since we can't win.

F the Lions. They're coming to our house and we're going to destroy them.
