What about No. 93? Sorry I did not memorize the name, but I saw two or three plays in which I remembered Leon Lett, because of the quikness and power of this guy...

Fairley is a dirty player. I don't want him on the team. Character still means something.

I'd take him in a heart beat. We need an intimidator out there.

people often say this defense lacks attitude, a mean streak. Fairley would definately provide that, but he'll be gone bt #9. I do question if he could play with the discipline the "3-4" defense requires, but if he could he would be an absolute terror.

Mike Blanc is #93.....He'll probably go 4-6 range.

I like him and have him in my mock.

I'd probably take him over a Christian Ballard. But I do think we'll have a shot at either Allen Bailey, Adrian Clayborn or Cameron Heyward at the 40th pick.

He does lack discipline. On top of that he was the potential of getting sloppy fat as he already looks like he is on that road. Plus he got winded way too fast last night.

Out of shape and lack of discipline makes for a short career (Bust) in the NFL.

It was a typical Nick Fairley performance for me. Blows you away with how dominant he is, but then does something absolutely stupid that makes you wonder if he's got a screw loose.

He's a risk.

Yeah I had him as a player to watch as well, that'd be Blanc. He's a little small for the 3-4 end spot height wise, but I liked some of what I saw from him as well.

My man love for Casey Matthews is public knowledge by now.

Guess you guys would pass on Suh too, given the way he racked up personal fouls this year and the way he almost broke Jake Delhomme's neck in a preseason game.

As for him being winded ... yeah, that happens sometimes when you're playing an opponent who no huddles the entire game. Didn't really stop him from completely dominating.

Casey Matthews looked great last night. He could be a sleeper.

Fairley is an absolute beast. Dallas would be crazy to pass him up, and won't! Unfortunately he's a top 5 pick and won't be available to them. Winded? A 6-4 300lb. lineman going against a no huddle, up tempo offense, in the National Championship game isn't suppose to get winded? Come on. Dirty? I don't know what you guys are looking for on your defensive line, but I want mine two steps back from an axe murderer!

Well, he seems to be going for one step back. Helmet beheading is pretty close.

True on both counts.

Reminds me of Suh and Sapp.

Plays nasty, something our D could use in massive doses.

lol, some of you guys will argue about anything.

If Fairley was available to us, you'd have to be a fool not to draft him. That's about as big a no brainer as there is. Even if he somehow busts, that's a risk you have to take.

That being said, I don't think some of the people criticizing him are saying he shouldn't be drafted, just pointing out some of the potential negatives.

I`ll second that. Gotta luv his attitude. Dallas needs some of that.

They said the same thing about Spears after the NC game and Dorsey. These guys careers haven't gone that well.

Never seen a dirty player that could be coached clean. You numbies do remember how hard core the NFL is with hits now, right? And we get more penalties anyway. So you get a guy who already has a dirty reputation here- guess what? A personal foul magnet, that would get suspended half way through his rookie season. PASS.
