Funny thing is, we ran all over the Falcons last season with Joseph Randle early on his first couple carries and went up 14-0. Went back and forth, not really getting the run game back on track, with bad penalties and Weeden targeting Dunbar way too much. Shut out in the second half.

Wasn't Weeden's fault!

Didn't we go up 21-0?

I guess this is a good thread to ask who is scared of the Falcons still.

He threw a bad pick, but our play calling after jumping out on top was not good. And we had bad penalties that put Weeden into bad situations he had no prayer of being successful.

Was it bad playcalling, or was it that Weeden lost all confidence in the downfield game after he threw that pick? I've heard more than one person say that Weeden's reluctance to take any risks that eventually got him replaced.
