Ya I know its a year old lol. But I haven't seen a thread on it.

Was on the back burner for a bit with Witcher and ESO to finish before I was willing to start another game. Anyone still playing? High points, low points

IMO Bethesda's best game. Better then Skyrim (close, and I love Skyrim)

I got the Season Pass. DLC's are so so IMO. Far Harbor wasnt great. Automatron is cool, but Ill probably never go with one as a follower since I lose the perks (max affinity with Piper and its a nice XP boost) so I basically only use it for settlement defense. I just started messing around with Vault Tec amd its very meh. Wasteland Workshop is a big win though. You get to build arena's and fight Deathclaws against Radscorpions against Super Mutants against Mirelurks....well you get the picture. Also a good source of craftable meets.

Just started Nuka World. So far it looks like a win. I can see it being like Skyrim was with its DLC' s with Far Harbor being the somewhat undershelming Dawnguard, and NukaWorld being the awesone Dragonborn. I am only two quests into that so it could completely blow too lol.

Anyone out there playing?

Yeah I love fallout. I finished the main game and I only started far harbor. I have season pass also.
As a shooter it's the best fallout ever but New vegas was better overall IMO.

Far Harbor was so so. The zone intself was very interesting. The storyline however I thought was rather weak

it's hard to put my finger on it. maybe my steam library is too big, but I just couldn't get immersed into it the way I have for other games by them, including Skyrim.
I know what you mean my steam library is too big also and really don't have enough time to play them all.
I just got the borderlands triple pack on steam sale. just 3 more not to play lol.

I binged on it, but stopped about halfway through?

Fired it up again a couple of nights ago, but couldn't really get into it. I need to finish it, though. Hate not finishing games.

Stopped to play Witcher 3 and finished that in one go - GREAT story line and play.

Story in Obivion was better. I liked Skyrim over Cyrodiil though. I really thought they could have made Cyro look better

Some of the side questlines in Skyrim ( Companions, Mages Guild) were kinda weak
I agree but I also think skyrim is great and with unlimited mods the replayability is really high.
I heard that there is a team working on a mod called skyblivion which will merge both games.

I love Fallout.I haven't played FO4,but I played FO 3 and New Vegas.

I really want to play 4,but money is tight and I still haven't purchased one of the new systems.

Someday hopefully I'll get to enjoy playing it.Can't wait. to see the new Elder Scrolls game!

Bethesda sure does know how to build a world.

I was absolutely blown away at the size of Skyrim.

I was equally blown away at FO3.The DC ruins were really eerie the first time I played it.At the time I never played games like ES or FO.Just mainly shooters.(which I never play anymore, if I see another FPS on my TV,I'll puke):)

Anyone get into the Wasteland Workshop stuff yet? Pretty damn cool.

Ive found the best place to set up an Arena is Spectacle Island. There is a little valley on the Island facing the Commonwealth. What you do is put the wood floors across it and once you do that you can continue adding ovee the water. The building space is massive. Right now I have a 16 cage arena. 4 Deathclaw cages, 4 Mirelurk cages, 4 Radscorpion cages and 4 Yao Guai cages. I havent even used half of building area yet. Next im gonna try and incorporate Raider, Gunner and Super Mutant cages as well.

Deathclaws win probably 80% of the time if all all levels are fairly even. What you will capture will range all the way from basic softshell Mirelurks all the way to level 91 Mythical Deathclaws. And thats dependant on your level. I started messing around with this at about level 20 or so.

Also make sure you add SEVERAL Beta Wave Emitters. They make it so any creature is docile to anyone in your settlement. So say you have an arena match, with Wave Emmitters you can actually watch from inside the arena itself and not be attacked. And whom wins, you can let out of the arena and use them as settlment defense. However if you have different species in your settlement they will become hostile. However since Deathclaws almost always win, you will almost always be able to add to settlement defense. I have like 17 Deathclaws roaming Spectacle Island. Now why you need several Beta Wave Emitters is because if you have one and it breaks ( which happened to me) with 17 Deathclaws including a few Mythicals, guess what happens........your loading an old save lol
