Anyone else pick this game up yet? Just came out today.

don't have the money but working on it cuz its a MUST BUY game!!!!!!

I'll pick it up over the holidays, I really don't have time for it right now. Fallout 3 lasted me for what seemed like forever

Fallout 3 was very confusing, long and just not too interesting to me as others seem it is. I'll pass but may take a shot on this for $20

I picked up a copy but have only invested about 30 minutes into it. So far it plays just like Fallout 3 which is a plus to me. Most of the reviews I've read on it are pretty positive as well.

I bought it yesterday but still haven't played it. I'll probably start after the game.

I picked it up last night (PC VERSION).

Same engine as F3 and the story is fantastic. There are some new things now in the game, for example..Traders have mods for your guns now like silencers and muzzles etc which aid in shots in VATS etc. They also carry special ammo (hollow pts-armour piercing) which are great but degrade your guns faster.

Love the game so far. Very very cool!

There is a Hardcore mode which you can turn on. The mode is SICCCK.

Stimpacks heal OT and not immediately
Crippled limbs need a doctor to fix
Ammo has actual weight to it in this mode
The goons are super hard to kill.

If you can complete the game in hardcore mode you get some awesome stuff at the end of the story.

You can also turn it off and on at anytime.

Ill keep you posted as I progress. Im playing a heavy sneak/repair/speech toon atm.

Just looked at a gameplay video of it. Reminds me of Redneck Rampage.

Where is BP? I need to open a can of whup*** on him! :laugh2:

I used to love that game. :laugh1:

I think I still have the install cd at home.

Had mine since last week...it is an improvement over 3 and although even I am trying to get all of the new features down (ammo creation and conversions) it is still a blast.

I want to play it through a couple times and then try it on hardcore mode, which I'm eager to get underway!

Level 11: Vegas Crusader so far...

Opted out on sissy mode and went right into hardcore mode.

Challenging to say the least!

To each his own I guess..

Does anyone know what the Wild Wastelander perk does? It went off once when I saw a refrigerator on the side of the road with a skeleton in it but nothing happened.

Im up to a level 3 now, only got about 3 hours into it. From the start my goal was to make it to the strip which I finally did. Got some female character following me around now (Victoria?)

I was wondering too, but then again I didn't add the perk.

As of right now

Level 14: Pinnacle of Survival

Current quest: The House Always Wins, VII
