Keep in mind that the fan voting has almost no effect on who goes to the Pro Bowl. Although the NFL says the fan voting counts "one third" of the total vote, because of the way each third is calculated and combined, the end result is that the players and coaches almost exclusively determine who goes (and the alternates).

I kind of agree with this anyways. Fans will always pick who they know the most, and that is usually their team. That is not being realistic.

Still wish they would do away with this awful game. At the least move it back to after the Super Bowl.

yeah, then our players could actually play in the game if they wanted....with it being before the SB, at least about 8 guys from other teams will go in as replacements, right?
