Elliott is my second favorite RB behind Derrick Henry of Alabama.
I dont think Nick Chubb in Georgia comes out next year.

Elliott is better than Henry. Henry is slow and has to get going quickly, otherwise, he can be taken down easily.
Elliott is more explosive by a long shot.

Henry is at least 20-pounds bigger with an almost identical 40 yard dash time.
Henry runs with more power and has breakaway speed.

You take Elliott.
Ill take Henry.

Henry looks lumbering. His speed doesn't translate on the field well. I was singing Henry's praises at the start of the 2014 season. But then I saw him running and saw how slow he ran. He needs to build up speed to be effective. But he's not that elusive. I saw too many times him get cut down in the backfield. He's a terror if he gets a head of steam, but not so much if you can chomp him down early.
Meanwhile, Elliott explodes through the line and (what I like best) is he carries the ball in such a way that reduces fumbles. He keeps it high and tight to his bodyl leaving no openings for a defender to punch it out.

Yes, by all means, you keep Henry. I'll take Elliott. Ezekiel saw the wheel, way up in the middle of the air. The big wheel runs by faith, and the little wheel runs by the grace of God. :)

Would you take Eddie Lacy if you could?
Henry is a Lacy clone.
And most draft sites also rate Henry above Elliott.
But to be honest. I would be happy with either one.

Lacy has more wiggle than Henry, IMO. And I've always loved Lacy's spin move.
Anyway, Elliott basically burst on the scene at the end of the year, so I'm not surprised he's ranked higher.
Be that as it may, I'll be watching both closely this season as the Cowboys could use a good work horse.

I want RB Elliott, even if we have to trade our 2nd to move up and get him. Of course, my thinking can change if our stable of backs has a very good year.
