This seems more like it... We shall see.
Meh... Can't tell.
Another reboot so soon. Amazing spider man reboot blew chunks. This could follow.
The first two FF movies were so horrible they had to do a reboot.
Looks much darker than most of the recent Marvel films (good).

100%
These reboots are horrible! This X-men crap, Spiderman crap, TMNT crap, and this will be as well.

I personally think days of future past was a better film than the amazing spiderman films....and I'm sure the TMNT film, which I have no desire to see. Brian Singer is a solid director.... save that superman atrocity..
I'm interested in the new fantastic four because at least they are willing to take the storyline seriously... do I think every element of the film should be super serious? No.... but you have to respect the origin of your characters.. It also helps that they have good young actors taking on the lead roles...
We will see if the director, Josh Trank, can display some of the same characteristics he showed in doing chronicle... he's also got a deal to a film in the Star Wars universe....
I think Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron gives "Mad Max: Fury Road" Potential. Bringing back the Director of the Original Trilogy helps as well.... As long as he doesn't pull a "Thunder Dome" , we should be okay on how he tells that tale...Reboots Coming soon:
Mad max
Terminator Genysis w/ Arnold.... ??? What the??
Indiana Jones
Already fudged up
Total recall
Robocop
Hulk

I was neve a fan of x-men. With that said, they made so many, I saw them all.... Became a fan.... So... I looked forward to days of future past. It was a total disappointment. The concept was great, ultimate weak story and transition to screen was a bust IMO.
I get the origins. I like it.
I get the "epic" concept. I like it.
But.... Not all gave to dark epic route ie. TDK etc.
The origins for most fans = show me super hero doing cool! suspend your disbelief stuff. Atleast mix it in with "epic"
It is not a Marvel movie, it has Marvel characters though
This related to the Disney-Sony owning rights battle?
I'll wait until it hits the big screen before I call them out on their approach FF, that is, a more detailed trailer wouldn't hurt as well..... I'm not sure how dark it's totally going to be...
As a comics fans, I respect whatever disappointment you had with "Days of Future Past"... But it wasn't poorly directed/crafted.... Amazing Spiderman was poorly done, no craftsmanship what so ever... strictly out for the doe... same with the Last Stand, in which that hack Brett Ratner took the reigns...Hercules anyone?!
I think directors miss the boat on these films.
I think they should have geek tank meetings before production.
We awe the consumer. They are the product. We decided what works more than they do.
We should be heard!
I want on that panel, Ron, Big... cash....et al us fans..... You guys should be on it too!
(And no, I am not kidding)
I hear you.. power to the consumer...
but aren't we too busy calling each other "fan boys", or either standing on the side of the "TDK" series, or the "Avengers" series.... (dark/action vs humor/action)
Somebody told me the Avengers was the best film he's ever seen! I said "Ever????".... I don't know... but i agree, they don't listen to the consumer.
They follow the money trend.... so be's hollywood....
