Before the days of the internet, The Dallas Cowboys Weekly was where I got 99% of my Cowboys fix. I started subscribing to it in 1982 when I was still in HS. It was a great magazine, then the internet happened. Great memories of that magazine!!

I subscribed to it during the Cowboys heyday in the 90s. I still have some of my old issues, though I threw many away because - quite frankly - they were just gathering dust in storage and just added to the clutter I know have.

The Internet has basically made such publications obsolete. Sadly, this is the way many publications will go as they simply can't compete with the Internet.

But this is a part of my youth I'll always have (at least until my memory gives out), the excitement and anticipation of getting my Dallas Cowboys Weekly in the mail - a phenomenon that will never again be the same in this instant information age.

RIP Star Magazine

What in the heck do you expect from a paper / magazine published from a team....dude, you could have just stated your 2nd sentence....what a troll post...
You must be a crusty old man. So irritable. I suggest a diet of oatmeal and prunes.

Well, OK.
I thought you were built of sturdier stuff, stout lad, who can dish it out but cannot take it.
I hope you think of me as you play your Kenny G mixes.
