Brown is a JAG and probably wouldn't be on the team if we hadn't lost Wilson during FA. He's the kinda player that gets culled and is only still here because we needed a WR with some experience in this system.

If Wilson was still here, Brown would be also. The player that would not be here is Dennis Houston, he would be on the PS. And no, he would not get poached.
The only reason Houston is on the team is because Dak likes him.

Noah Brown scored 4 touchdowns against the Oklahoma Sooners in one game.
He gets a permanent roster spot for as long as he wants it.

Noah has lost weight while increasing his core strength, foot quickness/speed and pass catching/route running. He looked very good during training camp this year. Dak totally trusts Noah and has been practicing extra with him. With Michael Gallup scheduled to missed the first game or two of the season, the new and improved Noah Brown is a blessing.
He looked like a different player this year in camp.
- He quickness looked terrific.
- Quickness for a WR is not just raw physical ability. Precision footwork is also a big contributor to quickness on breaks.

They all do, but you don't hold onto them for 5 years, those bottom of the roster guys are the ones that should get churned out. He's getting a shot as a starter, not because he's earned it by flashing at the position, but because of our own dire WR situation.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he does well and he's a try hard guy, but I have low expectations for him, if it didn't click in 4 years, I'm not expecting much in year 5.

wrong to both your comment in this thread, especially how Brown was here last year with all those players, now you say if they hadn't BEEN MOVED PURPOSFULLY like was the case, brown wouldn't have a spot..lmao how so? he was here in both situations, a crowded WR room and bare WR room, been through it all..

THE coaches are not wrong but guess what, FANS ARE. he has role here and coaches believe hes the best for the job.no reason they would keep him over smith and Vasher if they felt smith or Vasher could replace what he does IS not just be a WR but all of it.

wake up keyboard jockey, you do not understand how coaches evaluate players not watching game at full speed they see all practices, scrimmages, games and break down tape and know what each players strengths and weaknesses are.. fans do not know anything about the subtle parts of a players role.

Still don't think Brown is the de facto No. 2. I think Pollard is, making Brown the No. 3 for the moment, a role that I think is going to get rotated among several receivers.
IMO Turpin is but who cares whos listed as #2 WR its who gets the most targets and Brown isnt the #2 target. have to sift through Lamb, Zeke, pollard, Turpin and schultz first.

Who is Chuckles?
Simply the name makes laugh.

Back to the topic, if what Dak says is true, it's time for Noah Brown to make more of an impact in the game. Dak needs to go to him, and Brown needs to catch the ball when Dak delivers it.

Now is your time to shine.

Noah, row your boat a shore, Hallelujah! Wait? That's Michael.

Nevermind.

I think Turpin will essentially swap out with Pollard when Pollard is the lone back or taking a breather. Their skill set for bubble screens and jet sweeps is similar, so it would make some sense.

why is this story fascinating - it said nothing.
said he has good footwork (whatever that means), gets to his spot quickly, and has been in 25% of the snaps. 25% of the snaps and he averages 12 catches a year or less than 1 a game. His CAREER totals are 49 catches and 425 yards in 4 years. His career yards per game is 8.5. He's JAG.

I agree, especially with trading Cooper and even letting Turner walk.

Still think Cowboys should claim Turner off Niners PS.

And move Ridgeway to Cowboys PS. Turner would get more reps than Ridgeway this season.

Easily.

lol, brother. I'm teasing you guys. Kind of boring with no NFL football this weekend. I'm just surprised "Paco" created a good thread based on a pretty good and positive article.
:omg::thumbup:

He should be applauded for this one.
Agreed. I’ve had my skirmishes with Gimme, but a good post is a good post!
