Worst case scenario, the next best option isn't on the street right now anyways... by almost any way you want to measure it, the next best option is in camp with the Chargers right now. They have the luxury of having two of the better 2022 Ks in the league. One of them... probably Dustin Hopkins (not to be confused with Rain Man Dustin Hoffman, of course
)... is going to be cut. There's been an undisclosed injury keeping him off the practice field for most of training camp, but he's apparently back now, though probably too late to challenge Cameron Dicker.
