Someone needs to ask fassel -Why, knowing that turpin only needs a slight crease, do we not block the gunners? It drives me crazy.

I can’t understand how Maher isn’t the best option.

Guy had 17 good games and two unexplainably bad ones.

Did a blade of painted grass really make that much of a difference?
I’d at least bring him into camp

You can tell by that tweet our kicker situation is completely up in the air.
I'll bet money that they will have a kicker. This reminds me of last year when people were panicking and bad mouthing the Cowboys. R J Ochoa was classic.

I like having a kicker with a big leg. I'm willing to sacrifice a little accuracy for a guy who can kick a 60 yarder to win a game if need be. Most probably aren't willing to do that. They want the most accurate.
Take the accurate kicker. If it's too long either punt or go for it. The defense will stop them either way.

Andre Szmyt, Tanner Brown, Christopher Dunn (I was interested in him), Jack Podlesny, Blake Grupe, Trey Wulff ...

I mean, other teams at least took a stab at it. The team that got Dunn (the Rams) brought in two rookie kickers.
That’s why it will 100% be Mason Crosby. He was drafted by Mike.

There has to be a logical reason they brought in 0 kickers

They’ll obviously have a kicker, so you’re making a safe bet but whether they’ll be consistent remains to be seen.

Of course, just like last year and any other year.

Will it be the usual Jerry way of letting an obvious problem in the off season cost us a couple of critical games before a serious effort is made?

It depends on how pre season goes i guess... if we cant hit one and they do nothing then yeah.

Vizcaino? Yeah no go

I meant more of the UDFAs
I'm sure that they have a reason. I'm not worried. They will get a kicker from somewhere. If the kicker doesn't do a good job, they will get another one.

Good to see someone from the team at least acknowledge that Maher had a good year outside of what happened at the end.

"I think everything is on the table," Fassel said. "Let's face it, if you look at Brett, he had a great year. He had a bad game. But he played 22 game, but he had a bad game-and-a-half. I think everyone's on the table. I'm proud of what Brett did here. If he gets a shot here or somewhere else, I'm sure he'll perform well."
Fassel always protecting his buddy. Even at the cost of us losing a game. Wish Jerry was moving on from him.
