Peyton, gotta respect a guy that doesn't have his plays radio'd in.
Brees, I've just always like, especially his days in SD
Schaub, Shocks me how he wasn't one of the 3 QB's in the Pro Bowl this year.
Honorable Mention is Carson Palmer, sorry I'm an USC guy :D

Schaub made the pro-bowl.

He can the moment you stop being as silly as you are about completely over-rating so many of our players now, and all time, as the greatest players to ever play.

There is nothing wrong with a little bit of being a homer, we all do it at times, but you absolutely take yours to the extreme far more often than not.

There is a very easy case to be made for Manning being the absolute best QB to ever play.

1 super bowl vs 7 Championships, 10 appearances for Graham.

1 Super bowl vs 2 for Staubach and 5 appearances for Staubach.

1 Super Bowl vs 4 for Montana

1 Super Bowl vs 3 for Aikman.

If anyones overrated, its Peyton.

umm that pass Vick threw against us wasn't that great. The WR was open and Vick under threw him? How was that beautiful?

The tight spiral and the way he just flicked it out there.

I see. Yet another fool who thinks people win Championships on their own. I keep forgetting some of you folks have no idea that football is a team sport and not an individual sport.

But, going by your theory, when Peyton wins the Superbowl again this year, and has 2 in 2 appearances he'll be equal to Staubach in your eyes then? Or does getting there and losing those 2 extra times seem like something special?

Cause if thats the case how come Jim Kelly isn't in the top 10 lists? I mean the guy only helped his team to 4 straight Superbowl losses. I guess those losses should count for something, right?

And lets not be all high on the 5 appearances either. His first appearance was as a backup QB for Dallas so I give that zero credence, at all, to the greatness of Roger. Roger was still amazing without having to try and act like he had anything to do with the appearance in the 1970 Superbowl loss to the Colts when he was the back up QB at the time.

Only a fool would think Peyton Manning is not in the conversation for being the best QB ever. I'm not saying he is, or isn't, cause it's all subjective as to who is actually #1 but anyone acting like it's silly to have him in the discussion is crazy.

I mean only a person who thinks Miles Austin is the best WR to ever play football in the NFL would think Manning is over-rated...oh wait...

Yeah I probably should have just remembered that you don't generally know what you're talking about when it comes to greatest players ever.

Seriously, that's just nutty.
Peyton is a general and a surgeon on the field. Marino was another great, but his ability will not be judged by the merits of his own ability because he never had the team to win the Super Bowl.

Peyton though is probably going to have his 2nd in a week and a half.

Wht the hell?

I never said Miles is the best ever I said he has the potential to become the best ever since he can make big plays, and short tough yard hard catch plays, hes the best CURRENTLY playing ive said that time and time again and 1320 yards 11 tds in 11 starts proves me right. I not only say that now, I said it after the Atlanta game, so don't call me "oh ya you just started saying it a few weeks ago" heck na I was the first on these boards to say it

Only other one I could see a case being made for is Andre Johnson.

Peyton Manning is in the discussion, sure he is a top 10 QB of all time no problem, but when people rank him as the best of all time it simply is not true. He has been surrounded by talent ever year, and don't even say "pierre garcon" because I will say "Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark"

Romo has Witten and Austin, Pierre Garcon is their Roy Williams;

1. Drew Brees. Great QB. Very accurate. I love his enthusiasm and how precise he can be when he's on his game.

2. Peyton Manning - One of the best QB's ever. Mr. Laser Rocket Arm can do it all.

3. Aaron Rodgers - The man can play the position. Has great arm strength and is a natural leader. He's probably the top young-ish QB in the league right now.

I MIGHT agree with you if Romo didn't still have a case of turnover-itis. I still think Rodgers is a better pure passer than rivers and Romo also. Rodgers put up incredible numbers this season despite being harassed and beat up all year long. Besides, Romo is almost 30. Rodgers is 26. I wouldn't call romo a young-ish player.

Romo is sure pretty dang young considering he has only started 3 and half seasons, his body doesnt have near the wear and tear Rodgers does with that pathetic excuse of a oline
