1 super bowl vs 7 Championships, 10 appearances for Graham.
1 Super bowl vs 2 for Staubach and 5 appearances for Staubach.
1 Super Bowl vs 4 for Montana
1 Super Bowl vs 3 for Aikman.
If anyones overrated, its Peyton.
I see. Yet another fool who thinks people win Championships on their own. I keep forgetting some of you folks have no idea that football is a team sport and not an individual sport.
But, going by your theory, when Peyton wins the Superbowl again this year, and has 2 in 2 appearances he'll be equal to Staubach in your eyes then? Or does getting there and losing those 2 extra times seem like something special?
Cause if thats the case how come Jim Kelly isn't in the top 10 lists? I mean the guy only helped his team to 4 straight Superbowl losses. I guess those losses should count for something, right?
And lets not be all high on the 5 appearances either. His first appearance was as a backup QB for Dallas so I give that zero credence, at all, to the greatness of Roger. Roger was still amazing without having to try and act like he had anything to do with the appearance in the 1970 Superbowl loss to the Colts when he was the back up QB at the time.
Only a fool would think Peyton Manning is not in the conversation for being the best QB ever. I'm not saying he is, or isn't, cause it's all subjective as to who is actually #1 but anyone acting like it's silly to have him in the discussion is crazy.
I mean only a person who thinks Miles Austin is the best WR to ever play football in the NFL would think Manning is over-rated...oh wait...
Yeah I probably should have just remembered that you don't generally know what you're talking about when it comes to greatest players ever.
