you know..back when they played music with the famous dj's.

Martha Quinn actually answered one of my trivia questions back in 1983 on air.

my question was " Who was the original lead guitarist for the Scorpions?"

i was all excited ...she was a cutie.

here are a couple i watched over and over..

My first.....it is a shame they toured with The Bangles, heh.

Oh Awesomeness!! I was getting around to RUN. I was kinda savin' them for last. I am an 80s girl. Me and Lane, went to the RUN DMC, Beastie Boys Concert in Houston back in '87 I think, can't remember exact year. MY God. That was an awesome concert! We bought floor tickets from a scalper at the door and thought we were in HOG Heaven!!! And we were. There is a story that goes along with after the concert, in the garage parking lot afterward, but that will be for another day. Let me just say that Mamma don't play with boys that want to bring harm to her family, no matter how tough they think they are. Anyway, the Concert Was Awesome!

Kind of weird, I saw them in the Summit(Houston) too....I think that same year but no Beasties. Maybe it was '88, can't remember and I tried googling what year they played the same show, no results.

Drank my first 40 that night, came home smelling of dope but I didn't smoke any, heh.

Yeah, it was at the Summit. And yeah, the Beastie Boys were there. Could have been '88, the years get fuzzy over the decades, but yeah, I love the Beastie Boys, and they were definitely there. I remember the trashy chicks dancing in the cages on the stage. lol. Jerry's girls. lol. Anyway, it may have been the same concert. If it was, it was an awesome concert, wasn't it?? Yeah, the smell, he he, yeah....that was back when the Summit was cool, heck Houston was still cool, you could still smoke back then, some chose to smoke "other", lol, and crime wasn't as bad, and you could actually go to Houston without having to worry about getting murdered for no reason or killed in a car wreck so much.

The concert I saw was only Run DMC and The Bangles, the Beastie Boys were not there. If they were, then the forty got to me
