And tell us all why.

There are many players I liked over the years. From Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman to Roger Staubach to name a few. It's obvious that Tony Romo is my favorite. My reason is this was a guy that went undrafted from Eastern Illinois. Not too many gave him a chance but somehow, someway willed his way to be the starter of the Dallas Cowboys. While he didn't win a Super Bowl , he did break many Cowboy's QB records. Enjoyed watching him play throughout the years.

Best 5 offensive players IMO:
1A. Emmitt Smith
1B. Roger Staubach
3. Larry Allen
4. Tony Romo (he carried the team for a long, long time with little around him and yes, I know he won’t be in the HOF, but this is my list.)
5 - tied Erik Williams and Michael Irvin

Best 5 Defensive Players:
1. Deion Sanders (not my favorite, but far and away the best defensive guy to ever play for the Cowboys.)
2. Bob Lilly
3. Randy White
4. Harvey Martin
5. DeMarcus Ware

Note: Micah Parsons has the potential to be at the top of this list one day. He’s possibly as good as Deion was in his prime.
