- It's easily Talking Cowboys with me as the best among Cowboys site podcasts, when you have egos like Broaddus and Spanola going at it, … both can be excitable types.
Spag can be too much of a ‘ company bias’ homer most times, but when he wants to get straight forward he can get hits some points where many others on any podcasts don't catch.
..while Broad can be way off in terms of observation, evaluation and comments. I once heard him say more than once, that if it was up to him, he’d bring the entire coaching staff back for 2019, and make them all coach for their future contracts. But da Broad is the one that brings up the intriguing questions randomly to start up another CB discussion topics.
But if it’s someone who isn’t afraid to call it as sees it – it’s Broaddus. Also Brian will tell off past stories of his disputes with much heralded coaches such as Bill Parcells and GMs such as Ron Wolf. And can tell you what made those individuals uniquely productive , and what makes them difficult to deal with.
I am glad that they added Jones this past year as the host.
- Nate Newton on Hanging with the Boyz, gets too overpowering with interruptions, especiall if he disagrees or is determined to have you see it his way., and gets too giggly at times for my liking. It's not even something humorously funny, it's like he just feels like acting a damn fool . And I’m not fond of his belief that Cowboys fans don’t now football and need guys like him to explain all that is what is going on field. and there's a speech epidement with him that can get annoying too. And it's a shame because when he is in the mood and feels professional, he can be interesting to listen to.
But I think there's a reason why they took him away from Talkin Cowboys pod and moved him to hanging with the Boyz (which he wasn't pleased with) , which I stopped listening to when Nate was on that show
- I like and enjoy 'Cowboys Break " more when podcast-boss Derek Eagleton is on stage. He’ll bring some interesting topics and observations regardless of coaches, players, league office, Goodell, etc. and he isn't afraid to throw questionable criticism at coaches and players or units.
- Eatman seems so ole school at times, " Marelli can take him and light a fire out of him, he can work magic with him ‘… or " with Witten returning means they don’t need to draft a TE “
- Helman can either say some interesting points , or he can say some bizarre WTH statements and views,
Garcia is so giggly most times that I see her more so as the humorous side of the show. Every time I hear her laughter, I tend to laugh right with her. And her giggle side is not near as not annoying like Newton is.
- I always look up local Cowboys Youtubes podcast guys like like Voch Lombardi, ****NOT-AN-OFFICIAL-SOURCE***, Footsdaking (cowboyszone) Akoye Media, Space Cowboy, mark holmes, etc. and they can be a lot more direct and straight forwards vs the more censored Cowboys.com These guys will also offer break tape of Cowboys players from both sides of the ball per the videos.
