Couple of plays that I really enjoyed in retrospect over and above the obvious big plays

1.the WR screen to Crayton. That was well called, well executed and had alot of potential. The kid has natural running ability

2.the one handed catch Crayton made--they never replayed it, but i remember going "how the heck did he do that!"

3.the sack on Mcnabb when he just gave up and turtled. Visions of the 16 second scramble started in my head when he got out of the pocket; and I know he is playing with injuries that would make you or I not get out of bed for 3 months but checkout the pursuit. Our guys are hungry AND there is Ware covering the back side in case Mcnabb reverses field. I think that in Ware we have the speed to control these types of scrambles. Last year our DL chased QB's like they were wearing cement boots--flailing all over the place. This year they are like a pack of wolves!

4. the 4th down play to Polite.-what a gutsy call and a dagger in the heart of the Eagles.

5. the whole drive after the turnover for TD--we just hammered at their guts and took their will to play away. There is always a point in a game where you can break the opponents will and we have not been good a doing this. This game in fact is probably the first where the opponent is just watching the clock looking to get out of town since the 90's--remember that OL just pounding away at opponents defenses?

6.Several eagles pass plays - where the pass is completed to Westbrook or TO and my heart jumped in my throat expecting a huge gain when all of a sudden a missle wearing 31 comes flying into the picture and makes an emphatic sure no doubt about it you are going down tackle. Newman made one similar tackle as well

7.Lastly it wasnt a play but I loved the shot of TO over on the sidelines with all of his friends!!!!--that would be no other eagle--just glaring and pouting--I was hoping he would melt down--but that is coming--Mcnabb plays with devastating injuries and the oponents are helping him up off the ground and respecting him--TO plays in the super bowl with a recently broken leg and all he can do is self promote and knock his QB later--says alot about his character

Two things.

One, the play of our interior OL on the blitz pick up from Trotter. I have never seen us execute this better. Really just a wonderful performance, I thought.

The other, the block KJ made on the kick out to free Glenn (I think it was). It wasn't a pancake but the key there is to get on your block quickly and get locked up. You see that play a lot but you see WRs slow to the block many times. There not interested in blocking. There interested in catching the ball. KJ got out there quickly and that really made the play. If you don't get that blocked, that play can become a real negative. Nice play I thought.

Well honestly my favorite play was the one that set up what Dallas was gonna do all day. It was the first snap from the line of Scrimage for the Iggles. Mcnabb dropped back looking for a WR and a young bull headed rookie was in a heroic battle with very competent LT. The young makes a swim move and bam he has Mcnabb and bulls him to the turf. Sorry for the dramatics but thats what i saw as that play was unfolding. That sack on the first play is what set the tone for D all day.

I loved when McNabb slammed the ball in the ground, and I loved seeing TO's face everytime the punt team came in for Philly

Best overall game by our OL in years.........especially in pass protection.

I really liked seeing our DBs tackling correctly instead of looking for a big hit each time.

First KO return.
First offensive play.
First KO coverage.
First defensive play.
First punt return.

Kick 'em hard first chance we get!

I remember seeing a play where Ogbogbu just mauled an Olineman big truck style! Had him on his back like a cock roach! We really physically dominated the game :)

Our second possession, I called the play action to Terry for the TD. Ask my buddy Dooms. And then I called the plays to Witten over the middle on our 3rd posession. I kid you not.

There was a play late in the second quarter when the Eagles jumped offsides and Joe Buck said, "Free play for the Cowboys."

Well, Bledsoe had to scramble and eventually threw the ball out of bounds.

But the replay was hilarious......ND Kalu had jumped offsides and Flo got ONE hand out on him.....he held him back and blocked him with one arm.....It looked like Flo was just toying with Kalu.

The first return by Tyson Thompson and then that first pass play to T Glenn. Really set the tone. Other than that i thought the rest of the game was boring...zzzz

haha jk

TO running out of bounds six yards short of the sticks ... several times.

damn near all of em!!

except for the 4th and goal where julius got his helmet knocked off. i was like... throw the damn ball man!! play action baby!:)

i just loved the fact that we didnt go conservative....how about the going it on fourth!!! love it...lots of playaction, and going down field...something we havent seen in the first 4 games....please stay on a role, and dont get soft..go for it boys.
