What are your favorite things to show irrational hatred toward?

1. Road bikers - Leotards, little helmets, skinny shoes, and bike lanes, I hate all of it. "We all share the road"...no, I'm only sharing the road with the other multi ton vehicles. You take your carbon fiber and titanium trike and move to the shoulder where you belong.

2. Jeep drivers - Your vehicle sucks and drives like a shoe box with wheels. Just driving to the grocery store the cabin noise sounds like your sitting on the runway at LaGuardia. Leaving the LaGuardia Snack & Pack you can only fit a quart of milk, small sack of carrots, some Dentyne, and a tube of travel toothpaste. Don't even get me started on the ducks. Bath toys in an off road vehicle? Yeah, that's cause for hate right there.

3. Queen - Hate their music, hate their theatrics, and really hated their hair. We will, we will, rock you! Not me, you go rock somebody else who doesn't think you suck.

4. Starbucks - As I pass them in any city I honk and show my dirty finger out the window to anybody waiting in line for a venti half mocha double shot with almond milk and caramel drizzle. And you deserve every inch of that finger.

Now this is a feel good thread here, so none of you guys sitting in your jeep in line at Starbucks with your bicycle strapped to the back and listening to Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio get your panties in a wad. Let's just talk about what you hate instead.

I hate people who hate Queen. J/K

Let's see...Is it irrational to hate bad drivers? Probably not.

IDK, honestly, I think I have rationale for everything I hate. Others may not see it that way, but in my mind it's absolutely justified.

Ooh, except those fart mufflers some guys have on their little cars. They're not particularly loud, so I can't use that excuse. I just find them ridiculous and annoying.

Also, lowered pickup trucks and raised up sports cars.

Pennies.

Smart Cars. (The little boxy things)

Pencils that aren't yellow.

Oh yeah, I friggin hate when people don't put their shopping carts away. It's bad enough when they just haphazardly shove them into the cart corral, but when they just leave them out in the parking lot, it irritates the hell out of me.
Yeah, but that's totally reasonable.

I thought you said irrational hate.

I hate hearing people's sob stories on social media. I don't believe half of them. In fact I hate any fishing for compliments or sympathy on social media. I have my own issues, Almost everyone has a sob story of their own, big or small. Don't taze me, bro!

•people who dont flush the toilet.
•people who dont throw their trash into the trash can less than 2ft away from them.
•people who throw up in a automatic sink instead of 1 of the 8 toilets located less than 3ft away from the automatic sink they threw up in.
•people who flush hand wipes down the toilet
•people who put their toilet paper on the floor.
•people who blow snot on the mirror in the bathrooms
•people who dont pour their cups out before throwing them away...specially coffee.
•people who talk on their phones in public with the speaker on.
i dont want or need to be any part of your conversation....which ends up being 15min of 2 people loudly saying "huh"......or "what"...or "you said what".

People who don’t know how to drive.
People who throw trash on the ground
People who think it’s ok for their dog to have a bathroom break on other people’s property
People who don’t say thank you when you hold a door open for you.
Last one PEOPLE

All the bathroom issues you have are irrational and I believe they stem from a certain somebody's idol who's life ended tragically in a bathroom. Am I warm?

The flushing wipes down the toilet thing is, to a great extent, the manufacturer's fault for putting "flushable" on the package. I flushed them for years because I assumed "flushable" meant it flushed and then properly degraded in the sewer system without causing any plumbing problems, but, man, is that ever wrong. They're saying it in the sense that it does flush down. A wash rag will probably also flush down, but it's a bad idea. They really should put on there something like, "Dispose of properly, do not flush." I haven't had any clogged toilets since I quit flushing those things. I would never have flushed any of them if they had put that on the packaging. I think most people think that "flushable" means they're safe to flush and won't cause plumbing problems.

None of this is irrational... especially to a custodian, which IIRC, is what you do. But how many people throw up in church?

1 - I hate it when people express a dislike for something that they haven’t actually tried/experienced before

For instance, I eat sardines for lunch on occasion. With some smoked cheese. Some crackers. I eat anchovies on ‘za once in a blue moon.

Sardines are extremely good for you, and very mild - just like tuna or whatever. And anchovies are umami salt bombs, like pepperoni and sausage is. Yet 95% of people who rail on these tiny fish haven’t actually tried them before. But they like sausage and pepperoni. It’s the same thing. They’re umami meat salt bombs.

I’ll apply the same to media -

I recently binge watched the anime Attack on Titan and the reason I binged it is because I couldn’t freaking stop. It’s a show that is as good as Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones, and Chernobyl, and Band of Brothers (I’ve seen all of them)

But some people won’t watch it because it is an animated program from Japan. Yet in reality, animation is the best way to portray the story. It’d be ungodly expensive to CGI an AOT series, and the animation is killer. It’s as good as any show ever made and had me captivated the entire time.

I have more where that came from but I am going to eat beans and potatoes and walk the dog. As one does.

I hate when people refer to pizza as "za". I really do. No matter who's saying it, it seems like they're just trying to sound hip. It's not like "pizza" is a hard word to say, and "za" is almost always going to make me say, "What'd you say?"

I irrationally hate Jerry Jones. No matter how much I boycott game tickets and merch, he's still going to be insanely wealthy and own the Cowboys.
