Let’s say we’re picking closer to 15 than 10 and our board gets wiped. Seeing as we’ll likely be lifeless in FA I wouldn’t be opposed to trading down to the late teens and adding a 3rd + 5th. We could then use one of our multiple 5ths to get back into the 4th. Who are your favorite options?

Jihaad Campbell / LBr - clear cut LB1 IMO. MLB prospect with prototypical size / speed for the positions plus the smart to be the leader of the defense. Top 25ish player in the class and would give us a great young tandem with Marist for the future at a massive position of need.

Emeka Egbuka / WR - one of the safest and high floor players in the draft. I don’t think he’s overly twitchy and has a ton of wiggle but do think he’ll run in the 4.4s. Excellent route runner, blocker and ton of experience in big games.

Benjamin Morris / CB - this is 100% dependent on the medicals but if there are zero concerns he’s a 1st round CB. Good size, length, athleticism and nose for the ball.

Mike Green / DE - yup…DE from Marshall. He’s a certified dude. Led the NCAA in sacks and didn’t skip a beat against his toughest competition in OSU and VT. Burst, bend and natural finisher. Also has strong hands and some pop against the run for his size.

***I purposely didn’t put DTs on here as I’d bet a large amount of money a stud will be available with our 2nd round pick and think we should take advantage of that to maximize value***

If you can trade back to the 17-23 range I like
DT Harmon
DE Green
TE Warren
I don't think teams will be moving around as much in this draft. There are so few 1st round talents this year, after the top 10 or so players go.
Teams will stay put and pick BPA. Finding a trade partner might be a hard ask.

I'd look at:
1) DT - Harmon or Grant
2) OT - Banks, Simmons, Campbell
3) DE - Pearce or Green
4) FS - Starks
5) CB - Johnson or Barron
I would assume Harmon, Banks, Campbell, Pearce, Starke and Johnson are all gone in this scenario.

I’d be meh on Grant as he doesn’t give you pass rush but I love Barrons game.

Egbuka has grown on me since he starting looking at these prospects. No, not a #1 receiver, but think he would be a real good secondary option. Question is, how high is some team willing to take him, especially in this class? I agree, on the rest of your list.

Egbuka goes in the 1st round. Around 15 to 17.

For a team desperate for WR help love him in a trade down. He’d be a great #2 and you know we won’t spend in FA.

You think who works best with Dak, strong route runners, which he certainly is. Pick up that 4 we lost, I'm buying, but too rich where we currently stand.

I would trade out of the first if our board is wiped out. You might be able to get multiple picks that might include a first for next season if a team wants a certain player. This draft is deep at two positions we really need so trading a first for a 2nd/3rd round picks plus a 2026 1st would suit me fine. We would have two first round picks in a more talented player draft for next season.
