Favorite whipping boys from the glory years

Jerry, our GM, was always my favorite -- do privileged GM's count, as well? It should.
If not, count me out . . . I like our guys; well, most of 'em -- even the poor ones.

I'd give the edge to Leon over Maryland.

Lett was miles better than Maryland, near monster. Insane burst off the line. Power. Cat-quickness. He could destroy offenses.

That before cocaine started to become a big issue.

Cowboys first Super Bowl? Strip fumble on one play. Recovered and returned a fumble on another that was micro-seconds from a touchdown. Impact throughout the game. But we remember what we remember. Premature celebration. He said, "He had a dance in mind" were he to score. That didn't quite turn out as planned.

I'm blanking on the name, but we signed one DT in the early 2000s who was very good.,

Here he is.
Glover - 2002-2005 made the Pro Bowl for us every year.
Made the 2000s All Decade Team, but is probably just outside HOF range.

Best DT of the Jerry years, and that's a *long* time.
Nice job with the research on that. I always try to not speak in absolutes because I don’t trust my memory 100%, lol

David LaFleur........This guy should have been one of the most dominant TE's in NFL history but injuries and not having great hands put a stop to that. In his entire career, he one had one really good game that I can remember and that came in the first game of the 1999 season against the Redsk.....I mean "Commanders".

Me neither. I remember things wrong all the time.
Checking is just a few clicks away.

Easy for me because I'm doing this on my bedroom tv with a desktop attached.
I wouldn't have quite the diligence on a laptop or a phone. No way.
