I will never respect a QB who made his name in the West Coast Offense at the same level I respect those who were great outside of it.

A producing WCO QB will always have an asterisk next to their name IMO.

I'm also rooting for Favre. I'd like to see him get the record for all time number of interceptions thrown. I think he can do it.

Yeah, I think he's got it locked up. As for the season one, well, he flirted with it in 05, maybe he can nail it this year.

Why???

Because it's such a QB friendly system. Don't get me wrong, it takes a really good QB to run it, but IMO, the scheme and philosophy makes a QB look great.

I personally have more respect for QBs who put up identical numbers in more attacking style offenses, offenses where the QB is not the feature, but a cog. It's a harder offense to play in, but they do it.
