I will hold off any bashing of Favre and his mini drama until after if and when we beat him twice this year.... If we don't beat him, I don't see where we really have much to say about it. He hung 35 on us last year, he still got game.

Him retiring or not really makes no difference to me. Minn evidently has no issue with him taking the time to decide so why should it matter to anyone else?

I have never rooted for someone to get an injury and never will.

But this guy makes me get real close.

So all he really needed was a little extra coaxing (prison lovin?) from his teammates to make him feel appreciated. It will be a great day when he is finally run out of the league.

I don't get why people get so worked up over Favre.

I take it because of the attention he gets. I have no issue with a man who has spent the majority of life playing the game wanting to continue playing. He showed last year he still has the tools and frankly I don't think Minn makes it to the NFC Championship game without him. I will say if I was the GM I would want him to say what his intent was much sooner but evidently Minn is willing to give him this leeway

I can't wait for him to provide that game changing INT when it matters most!

Honestly, did anyone actually believe he was retiring? If so, you should be embarrassed.

Everyone and their grandmother knew he was just skipping the first part of training camp.

I love it. The hand wringing and finger pointing is already hilarious.

Here's an idea, let's retire him when we face the Vikings. Who's with me? That's the way a warrior like him should leave the game anyway. With battle scars.

I want him to return so we can return the beating.

I heard on sporting news radio about an hour ago that 3 Vikings players went to convince Favray to re-join the team and he, supposedly, is on his way right now. Be prepared for the four letter network blitz.
