Feel Sorry for Arizona

I think it just depends on our OTs.

People can blame the coaches, the D and so on...but if bledsoe has time and we have a decent running game, we can win.

If bledsoe does not have time than he will be the same as tonight.

Our defense has held more then it's fair share IMO, and doing better, earlier then I would have thought at the start of the season with so many new faces and the schemes.

But it is not good enough to be a Balitmore ravens and carry the team to victories all the time like the ravens did in it's superbowl run.

Those OTs will make or break us this year....Bledsoe will only be as good as our Oline lets him be.

I agree 100%

You can count on Arizona coming in and playing hard. With such a young team here there are no easy, or give me games. I would bet on it coming down to the end again. And that scares the hell out of me.

Neither does Filthy. Hopefully we dominate again!

I am as pissed as can be, but I'm getting used to this **** by now. I'm looking on teh bright side, and if we can beat Arizona, we will be at 5-3 for the bye. Honestly, that's about where I had us, 6-2 just seemed to good to be true. This is not gonna be a fun week until next sunday.

****

Look at the team that Dallas is playing and that is what you are going to get.

root for Arizona then

Whatever. I'm no less of a fan than you are and I will be certainly rooting my tail off for the Boys come Sunday.

All I did was state facts. This team has been in 6 out of 7 games that have come down to the FINAL possession. The quality of the opponents has been irrelevant. We stomped what most consider the best team in the conference by 20 points and it wasn't even that close. So how is thoroughly dominating the best team in the conference so easily not an aberration in comparison to the other 6 games??? It doesn't matter how good we think this team is or could be. This Cowboys team has not displayed anything to make anyone think, Cowboys fan or not, that they will simply pick on or dominate a "lesser" opponent.

Again facts...Flozell is not coming back this year. Bertrand Barry is an established and very good pass rusher. Okefor had 2 sacks today. Those DEs are probably better in tandem than what our OTs struggled with today. That's going to be a problem. It's well documented that Drew is a completely different QB when he's not playing under ideal passing conditions. If our OTs don't perform much better, our passing game will struggle. It's not like I'm re-writing history here or making any bold or unfounded statements.

I'd like to sit here and confidently say "yeah, we're going to smoke these guys". But how can I??? I'm wondering how you or anyone else can for that matter.

do you know how hard it is to win 3 consecutive games in this league nowadays? esp. 3 straight against top conference opponents?

why do you guys still go about conceeding cowboy victories? every single game but one has gone down to the last play of the game and you still want to concede wins? this is the EXACT same mood we had playing the niners and the Commanders. please stop.

is 8-8 unreal? that's what I have the Cowboys pinned as at the end of the year, just I don't ***** and moan after a close loss against a tough team, and a word of warning for you...PMS is bad

Other than the Philly game, which looks like an aberration at this point, what has this team done to inspire confidence in the fans to overlook any NFL opponent????

I agree.....Dallas has played only one game where they looked like a good professional NFL football team, and that was vs. the Eagles.

They were lucky to beat San Diego, NY Giants, San Francisco and are fortunate to be 4-3 right now as they could be, and have played like, a 1-6 team.

The offense played well we all know how that ended up.

The defense played very good untill 58 Minutes and then well it all collapsed.

After this heart breaking loss I expect the troops to rally and lay a severe Buttwhoopin' on Arizona.

Dallas 35

Arizona
14

:lmao:

Thanks for the laugh, DD.

By "buttwhoopin'" I think the Boys win by 7 or less, if they win. No need to risk anything with the high potent AZ offense out there.

5-3 would be fine (should be 7-1). A pace for 10-6.

4-4 (with at Philly coming) would be a big time downer.

not if we manage only one td again

this loss is basicly a mirror image of the Washington meltdown, and w eplayed two awful games to follow that one up against two really poor football teams (especially SF, which will probably end up this yr as the worst team in NFL history)

I dont see any reason to expect anything different Sunday...I get the feeling that this team is starting to lose faith in Parcells because of the style he wants to force on the team...he deserves alot of the blame for being 4-3 instead of 6-1 or maybe even 7-0

5-3 against the softer part of the schedule with two losses that never should have happened

brutal 2nd half schedule...unless Julius Jones comes back and really just goes off for about a 1000 yds and alot of tds in those last 8 games, we'll be sitting home and watching in January again...Parcells is too stubborn to change his ways

Don't feel sorry for them.

I have a prediciton.

Dallas will have 400 yards of total offense...
but the game will STILL come down to the last seconds...

2 minutes left, game will be tied 7-7...

Dallas has the ball first and goal at the 6.

1st down - run... 4 yard gain.
2nd down - run stuffed for 2 yard loss.
3rd down - run... stuffed for no gain.

Cortez misses field goal.

Arizona drives the entire field in 1 minute on 2 plays,
scores the TD - wins the game with .01 left on the clock.

Bill puches Zimmer this time.

:laugh2:
