At this point i don't feel sorry for him at all. I am sad to see yet another person flushed their opportunities down the drain, but that's just my general view on things. He has been given many chances simply because he seemed like he had the potential to be very good at what he does, but those chances come at the expense of somebody's opportunity. I will be glad to see someone else take advantage of it.

I can't say I feel bad for a grown man who chooses to do things that will jeopardize a multi-million dollar career. The guy want to act like a street thug well he just may get his wish if no other teams are interested.

I feel bad for the parents of the little kids who look up to idiots like Pacman Jones.

Their job just gets harder the more idiots like him get chance after chance to become the hero for kids in this country.

He wouldnt get this pub if he was a Jag.
You can't really think that hazy.

He got plenty of bad press when he was playing in Tennessee. Last I checked, Tennessee is not Dallas.

He gets more publicity now, because he is a chronic screwup and has proven to be a useless individual. Dallas was supposed to be his last resort, the lasts top on the crazy train. He knew that when he got there, and did good for a few minutes. then he started being himself again, and this is where he ends up because of it.

He's a lowlife, simple-minded, doomed to repeat his failures imbicile. Until he can find a way to change that, which he won't, he will continue to get the well deserved bad rap he has gotten so far.

To think it's because he was a Cowboy is asinine.

I'm sure we'll hear about him being killed within a few years. No way does his life not catch up to him.

I agree him being a Cowboys played no part he was on suspension before he came to Dallas. The only person who should be held accountable for Pacman is Pacman he is the one to blame for his own stupid problems.

I feel bad for people who are victimized.

I don't feel bad for people who aren't victims, but who are knowingly harming themselves and never respond to offers of treatment.

Adam Jones placed himself firmly inside the latter group's walls.

That's life. Allow Jones to live his as the idiot who has tried so very hard to symbolize. It is the one thing which he has excelled at in life. He should be very proud of himself in that regard.

Anybody who gets that many chances and blows them doesn't deserve to make millions a year playing a kids game. Good riddance.

I don't feel sorry for him. Anything that happens to him right now is of his own doing, either by doing something recently that gets him in trouble or lingering issues from things he did prior to this cause he got himself in so much trouble during his time.

He can look in the mirror and know that it's his own fault that he has all these issues.

Well according to Norm the Cowboys were looking into allegations that he was out clubbing in Dallas the night of the Baltimore loss and was partying in Miami for New Years ... so he seems to be enjoying life.

I hear what your saying and i generally agree that people who have influence over the young ones should act responsible. But, something really bothers me about the idea that football players and the entertainment media in general have that much power over our kids. As an expectant father, i would consider myself a failure if the person my child looks up to for a role model is a football player (unless they plan on playing football as a living) or a Hollywood actor. and i do realize some of these athletes do over come terrible odds to get where they are.

No a knock on you dc and i agree that some kids do adore athletes and actors but if kids are looking up to them as heroes then it's more a reflection on the parents than anything.

He will be broke soon, so he won't be enjoying it quite as much in the future. And that is if he doesn't end up in jail at some point. He is going to court about the Vegas incident in March. That is only part of the story and his future.

Jerry has accomplished his goal. He now has the fan base discussing the "good move" he made by cutting Pacman, rather than the disaster of keeping the same coaching staff. Way to go Jerry in turning down the heat.

He'll get no pity from me. There are millions of people who would KILL to have his job, and he threw it all away in the name of "keeping it real".

You said it yourself.

"unless they plan on playing football as a living"

Most kids think they are going to be the next Pro Athlete.

It would be naive to think they are looking up to teachers and doctors are role models. You would have to really shelter your child from the everyday world to accomplish this.

Good luck with the new baby bro.

My nephew wants to play pro football in the future and watches games and specific players for what they do on the field and their preparation for the game. But he looks up to people he knows personally, his parents, his uncle and aunts, cousins, friends of the family, etc... who are among other things teachers, doctors, IT people, mechanics, property managers, etc...

I dont feel the least bit bad for em. There's some people who are just flat out thugs who have no good in their heart and cant change for the better when put in the right situation. Pacman just happens to be one of em.

you don't know that.

Perhaps the stripper was on fire, and that's why Pacman had to spit on her. You just never know the context with some of these things.

Certainly, no decent person would or should wish ill to another human bean.

Yet, there will be the self-righteous who will cast stones on PacMan's glass ceiling.

There is such a thing as redemption.
We can be glad that the team is rid of a disruptive influence but we should never wish further infliction of bad things on another human. It serves no cause other than to quench our thirst for being self-righteous and all goody two shoes.

Good luck to you, Pacman, I hope you find your groove and your head and will one day stay on track.
