Certainly, no decent person would or should wish ill to another human bean.

Yet, there will be the self-righteous who will cast stones on PacMan's glass ceiling.

There is such a thing as redemption.
We can be glad that the team is rid of a disruptive influence but we should never wish further infliction of bad things on another human. It serves no cause other than to quench our third for being self-righteous and all good two shoes.

Good luck to you, Pacman, I hope you find your groove and your head and will one day stay on track.

I certainly hope the guy straightens out but to this point he's shown nothing to make me believe he will and even if he does one day, finally, grow up and stop getting into trouble that doesn't mean I'm going to magically feel sorry for him for all the things that went wrong in his life when they're of his own doing.

I'm be glad that he got his life turned around, and finally got it, but that won't mean if someone mentioned something he did and say "Man I feel bad for him that those things happened" that I'm suddenly going to say it was anyone other than him who brought that stuff on him.

Hopefully the guy grows up, gets better, and has a great life and not all these troubles.

One of Parcel's stories he used to tell i liked was what his father used to say to him when he used to get in trouble and tell his father that it wasn't his fault. His father used to say, "It's never your fault, yet you're always there."

At some point, as a grown man, you need to start avoiding situations and environments that get you in trouble, even if it means sacrificing or giving up some of the things you enjoy. He might not be guilty of everything he is being accused of but he also doesn't appear to be consciously avoiding trouble. There are many more players who manage to do that. I don't wish him any further harm but he is paying for his repeated bad decisions when he was given every opportunity to succeed.

His behavior does indicate a lack of intelligence, doesn't it? Out of curiosity, does anyone know Pacman's wonderlic score?

people that do not learn from their mistakes deserve what they get and will eventually fail. learning from your mistakes, not repeating them and how to pick yourself up from them are pretty important to life IMO.

Anyone who has pity or compassion for Pacman, is a better person than I. I just can't feel bad for him.

Pacman had so many chances. He had everything. And he was stupid on multiple occasions.

He had so many warnings. He made too many mistakes.

I have no pity for the guy. He had everything and ruined it through his own stupidity.

Trust me i hate low life scum as much as the next guy........but i get the feeling that there just attacking dude.....i know he hasnt made right choices, especially with the opportunity given, like 1 in a million to be playing a sport and making millions

But weather you all admit it or not, we are human, and we all have made mistakes, some dumber n more ******** then the other.....

I don't know, i guess its the fact that he loved Dallas so much, my Favorite team, and the fact that he's not that bad of a player....A guy like Tank I'm glad his *** is gone, disrespecting our team and all

I just wish we would have stuck with hi a little longer, he seemed to have changed stopped talking to the media and everything...and my main reason why i wanted him here, is because he really loves this team, you can tell, and that makes you feel good as a fan

i know i will get flamed though

But i am glad we will get to see Scandrick n Jenkins More, with Henry maybe moving to FS
yeah i feel the same way about how the situation went down to.

It's asinine of you to think him being a Cowboy didnt turn more heads.
It didn't. Him being given a desperate last chance by the Cowboys and still screwing up turned heads. That is nothing to do with the Cowboys, that's him being him, and completely unrelated to what uniform he had on.

If he had his last chance with anyone and did it, he'd still be getting the same attention.

I feel bad because more than anything he needs help and guidance and I feel if he is removed from football then things will only get worse.

There's an abundance of truth in this statement. Dude needs some serious life guidance...

Cutting Pacman was Jerry's attempt to appease the media and the fan base that are calling for people's heads after a disaster of a season, while he refuses to make changes at the top where they are needed. Unfortunately, judging by the reaction on this board Jerry's diversionary tactic seems to be having some success. People actually think cutting Pac is some sort of symbol of change? No he was a sacrificial lamb offered up, along with Bruce Read, to get your hopes up for next season. Sorry, this team's problems run much deeper and go much higher than that. Yes, Jerry fooled you all again, I am afraid. What's the saying? Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, can't get fooled again? ;)

Sorry, but I stopped reading when I got to this point.

Anybody that thinks Bruce Read was a sacraficial lamb apparently didnt watch any games this year.

HE FREAKING SUCKED!!!!!

I would have fired his arse in Zona after watching our probowl punter get carted off the field. So how exactly again is Bruce Read a sacrafical lamb when he sucked at his job and was totally incompetent???

Your post lost all cred with this little gem.

There's no bigger star than the one on his helmet. He wouldnt get this pub if he was a Jag. That's the way it is and that's the way Jerry wanted it.
I totally agree with it...

I have a lot of sympathy for him.

He was learning from his mistakes and trying very hard.

Guy did all that bad crap when he was at Tennessee.

When he was here, he did everything he was supposed to do except that stupid mistake when Jerry's own bodyguard picked a fight.

He struggled to get his game back after a year off and he was getting better.

I think it sucks that Jerry's made a sacrifice of him. Tank absolutely. But I think PAC was on the right TrACK.

It was Pacman's fault but I think anyone can see there was huge improvement and that all these quotes about him being a thug etc. are a little unfair.

I think this past year proves he'd realized his mistakes and genuinly tried to change. He kept his mouth shut after the fallback and then had the injury setback. if his past wasn't so awefull and the team had been more successfull this year I believed he'd have pulled it off and turned it around.

The way things turned out, I think Jerry had to be rid of him but it's a shame. He's a talented guy who'll not get another chance.

Just my opinion.

Thing is he should have known about the seriousness of the situation. When people say what should he just stay at home at night? Yes given the situation he was in knowing full well any screw up big or small could cost you everything yes you do what you have to do for what is important to you. We are talking 5 weeks after being removed from being suspended and in that short of time he blows it, we are not talking 1 or 2 years of good behavior or good judgment we are talking 5 weeks. I do think it is ashamed that a person of his skill level is willing to throw it away but then he has no one to blame but himself
