Feelings on our head coach so far

Things seem to be better in Dallas since the Shottenheimer hire.A great coaching staff has been hired and I like direction the team seems to be heading in .Dallas seems to quicker at making decisions as well, I am optimistic.
that's one thing I think we're starting to see, maybe that's his influence on them and they're listening, maybe it's the players letting Jerry know their frustrations

How are we feeling about him so far. How much of an impact is he having on the team and the people in the front office? It seems like the players are buying in even before having a practice!

What kind of coach do you think he'll be, will he be tough yet fair, will he be a nice coach easy going or what? Has he mentioned anything in the news that really stood out to you?

The comments on being a physical team that meant a lot. Maybe him being in the background allowed him to see how our team was constructed under the former coach. He couldn't say or do much because it wasn't him team. Now it's his team, several people saw a lot in him to vouch for him to be our head coach. I'm intrigued, please give your thoughts
he is new. that's what Jerry does. things fall apart under the old coach and he shakes coaching staff. he did it with garrett and before that wade and so on...this is his way of generating hope and then he markets the shiet out of it....

so what people feel is slight ray of hope, out with the old, in with the new....but nothing has really changed.....same culture. same players. same GM and eventually the new coaching staff witll end up just like the others.....

and I called it, said it mid season. this season was a disaster. Jerry felt the heat and anger and only couple of wins against crappy teams at the end of the season saved his arse. now he will sign a token FA this season to show we are changing. he won't go for top of the heap of FAs, probably second tier. and then bang the drum with signing FAs, spending money, blah blah...same old same old. EXACTLY the same thing happened when he hired MM. he signed McCoy, Dix, Poe, all second and third tier FAs at the time...none of them worked out because at that point of their careers they sucked.

he will do the same this year.

40 days, most of which were in February.

Not sure what he has had a chance to do to get any "feelings" about him yet.

just always have to be Mr. Negative! We know all of this, but he's said some things and may have had an influence on some things. We KNOW any football hasn't been played/team meetings/adversity etc etc, but let's look on the bright side a little my gosh!!

we shall see, some tier 2 guys would help this team a lot more than what we had last year

Yeah, since the sleepover McFraud hiring my biggest gameday observations were on quarterbacking and coaching.
Especially playoff game performance by both those position holders.

I was not wrong in observing major failure at both positions.

Until game day and especially post season performance, I can hold back judging Schotty.
But I already know what Sleepnumber is regardless of coach/playcaller.
So thats already an 0 for 1 batting average.

Jason Garrett II

How else can we look at it? It is an identical situation. 10 years guys, 10 years...

Yep.
Hard to disagree with any of this based on these examples given and all of Jerry's past patterns of behavior.
Totally agree.

sometimes to get what you want you have to complain!!!!!!!!! I bet you're gearing up for next week bud, free agency starts, we sign Jazz cat instead of Dallas East and people start complaining!!!!!!!!!!!
Really hung up on this complaining stuff aren't you?
