We'll have a chance with Felix back on the field. Slot, WR, TB, PR, wherever... Gotta spread them out so they don't just play 8 in the box all day.

IRVING - Cowboys RB Felix Jones sprained his posterior cruciate ligament in Monday night's 21-7 win over Carolina.

"It's yet to be determined how long, or if he will be out very long," Wade Phillips said. "We have to wait and see on that. It could get well quickly."

PCL injuries usually take two weeks to heal, so Jones could miss the road games at Denver and Kansas City and then return after the bye week.

The guys on the "Lunch break show" gave me the impression that he'll return for the ATL game..

That's because it sounds like he will.

I smell a "shut him down for the season" coming on........

Felix is like that pretty girl in the tight jeans who NEVER puts out.

What the HELL is up w/ him & his old running buddy, Mcfadden at Oakland?

Were they both this injury-prone at Arkansas?

We need that HR hitter in the backfield. I seriously doubt that Miles Austin
will dominate against better NFL teams.

I thought it was a sprain now it's a tear?...Good god can this guy ever stay healthy. sorry but Injury prone:mad:

Consider the source. What did it start with last year? Pulled hammy or something like that?

Not worried my friends. Two words for ya... TASHARD CHOICE! Felix will make it back one of these days and hopefully steer clear of future injuries. Till that time, Choice is a dang good RB and I couldn't be more happy that he is getting more playing time.

right now with felix in limbo and Barber looking like He's injured or tweeking something It's all going to be on Choices Shoulders.

Can He handle the load? I sure hope so.

Jones has never been injury prone, it's just been a string of bad fortune lately, he'll be fine. There may be a blessing in disguise here if he comes back freshly detailed with a full tank of gas for the second half of the season. In the meantime Choice is getting better and better and I'm on his bandwagon too until he gives reason not to be. Like others have noted, there seems to be a little Emmitt in that young fellow, sounds good to me.

Choice is a good RB. But those acting like he's some kind of upgrade or even replacement to Felix have lost their mind. Felix is in a whole different world in terms of ability.

Choice is to Lendale White as Felix is to Chris Johnson.

The question for me regarding Felix isn't so much how long will he be out? as it is how recovered will he really be upon his return?

The bye week will be beneficial for Barber. Not concerned because he should be about 100% ready to go when we play Atlanta.

This bad of an injury just from falling forwards when he was tackled by Carolina??? He didnt even get twisted, he just fell forward to the ground and now he has a PCL tear???

6-8 weeks is the timetable???

Good Lord, this guy is so freaking soft it is amazing. In the next Madden, he is going to have an injury rating of 12:mad:

He wasn't injured on the play where he fell forward. He was injured a few plays earlier. It just appeared that it happened on that play because that was when he was taken out.

Before we start calling him injury prone and all of that, just remember the GREAT receiver Jimmy Smith we gave up on years ago, thought he was injury prone.

If you all want to over react on a player, go jump on Carpenter for being here 4 years and still can't crack the starting line up.

No, no, no. You've got it all wrong. We've got to trade Felix because he's injury prone, cut Crayton for muffing 1 punt in all the years he's been here, cut Roy Williams because he's got 3 sprained ribs, and cut Terence Newman because he obviously isn't elite if he can't get an INT on each pass attempt his way and hold his man to zero catches through 16 weeks!
