I agree. We should use him as much as we can on offense. Whatever it takes for him to get a thousand rushing yds.

:D

We may not need "exotic" plays for him.

Just get him the ball any way you can.

Felix Jones = Monster

If he was a monster like you guys are saying he would be on the field more.

Love to see a backfield of Barber and Felix ala Springs and Dorsett

But, yeah, I'm sure he'll get more and more touches as the season rolls along

Felix needs to get some screen passes.

We need to use him like Westbrook

Dallas is using Felix Jones more than Philly did with Westbrook his rookie season. As a rookie Westbrook had 46 rushing attempts, 9 receptions and 0 kickoff or punt returns.

Felix is still learning the offense and learning the NFL. We will all see him getting more touches as the year progresses. There is no need to rush anything especially when the offense has been able to produce 62 points in two games and average 7.2 yards per play.

There is not a need at this point, but it will happen. Jones will become more involved in the offense. So will Bennett, Austin, Hurd and even Stanback.

I know he was really good on them in Tenn, but he has yet to impress me with one here. I would like to see Felix back there. He's got the shiftiness to succeed as a punt returner.

he only returned a handful of punts at Arkansas, Pacman has much more experience. Not that Felix can't do it, but there's no reason to have to make decisions like that this early in the season, let's give Pacman another 2 games to return punts before we change that.

I agree. I would continue to have Adam Jones return punts, I have no doubt he will hit some big returns before all is said and done so why mess with his confidence.

Once again if he was a monster he would be on the field. IF he was a good as some of you guys are saying how could we not afford to play him???

I'm still waiting for these exotic plays that is supposed to get him open and use his speed and such.
We're still waiting for the irrefutable evidence Mendenhall is better.

I double checked just to be extra sure they weren't missing something. They weren't.

Then when I look at Felix Jones' stats I wonder when I'm going to get to rue the day.

Yea he has had more impact than Mendenhall however the RB i really wanted was CJ and I don't think you could even compare Felix to what CJ has done in Tennessee

Had mendenhall not dropped i would still have wanted us to draft CJ

But Witten blows by him with route running and technique

Why go to exotic plays when just the regular plays and offense is working so well? Dallas is second in yards per game and first in yards per play after two games.

I think the Cowboys will but I think they are easing them into their rookie year as they continue to come in and make plays they gain more and more confidence and the teammates gain more confidence in them. Right now you have Barber starting and Witten so we are not forced to throw rookies in to lead the way.

I don't understand how you can state that Felix Jones has had more impact than any back taken in the draft this year after saying he was a bust back in April.

He had a return for a TD outside of that he hasn't had any back. Out side of Mendenhall every other rookie RB drafted in the 1st round.
