Smart boy. Here's what happened: The Poli Zone is no more, so now he feels no compulsion to be civil to those posters he was simpatico with politically. In short, he has reverted to full-blown hack mode, dispensing with any pretense of fairness or objectivity. He doesn't think of the word "homer" as a pejorative. On the contrary, he's quite proud of it. Hopeless.

man I sure hope they don't do to Felix what they did last year.

I understand the coaches are probably feeling alot of heat right now, but it is a long season and there's no use dinging up your most explosive player against a winless team

The most likely scenario is that Felix Jones returns after the bye week. But he hasn't ruled out a return this Sunday against Kansas City and intends to test the injury in today's practice.

"I don't know yet,'' said Jones, who sprained the posterior ligament in his left knee in the win over Carolina. "I'm still working out, still trying to see how things are going. We'll just see in the next few hours how I feel.

"Every day it's getting better.''

Maybe they should reopen the Political Zone then so people have an outlet for their aggression :laugh2:

Felix Jones aka Glass Joe will not be on the field this Sunday... Financially not a smart move on both sides. PCL is very risky.

Felix Jones said he was testing out his left knee today, trying to see if the PCL sprain he suffered against Carolina is well enough to play Sunday against Kansas City.

Jones wore a brace over the knee while walking back to the Cowboys coaching offices. The Cowboys held Jones out of practice all last week and he did not travel to Denver for the game. After the team rushed for just 74 yards in a losing effort, it was clear they missed the home run threat Jones provides.

Though Jones may be able to run straight ahead, the real test is whether he can make cuts. We'll find out a little later whether he is able to practice with the team today.

Jones said he wants to play.

"If my body ain't right I can't play," he said. "But you know I want to be out there."

UPDATE: Jones did not dress out for practice but appeared to be warming up for rehab with associate trainer Britt Brown. Roy Williams (ribs) and Andre Gurode (knee) were also out of practice.
