Let him sit for a week. Call up Princeton Fant from the practice squad if John Stephens isn't healthy enough to play either.

It's a long season and I would rather see Ferguson sit than try and play and turn it into a multi-week injury.

But I really doubt once it swells up and he loses most of the week he'll be able - or more realistically, allowed - to play. No sense in forcing it this early in the season anyway.
