*We have an extra day to rest and since Deadskins play on Monday night, they'll have one less day.

*With our win, the Vikes have a better chance at getting the #1 seed. Hopefully they will have a reason to play their starters against the Giant in week 17.

Hmmm, those are nice intangibles, see how things become relevant when you take care of business? Hopefully it isn't too little and too late.

It won't matter. The Giants season ends monday night. Bank it.

According to playoffstatus.com, our chances of making the playoffs went from 59 percent before the game to 86 percent after the game. If we had lost, they would have dropped only to 55 percent.

Mathematically, we almost had nothing to lose tonight. If we had lost, though, the problem would have been psychological, trying to convince the team that our chances hardly diminished at all even though the fans, media and maybe even they themselves told them they were finished.

Thankfully, we won't have to worry about that now.

so Adam...if the Niners and Skins win this week, then we beat the Skins next week....are we in?

I think regardless of what the Niners do, if the Giants lose Monday night and we win next week, we'll be in since we'll have 10 wins and the best the Gints can do is go 9-7.

We don't even need the 49ers to win. If the Commanders beat the Giants and we beat the Commanders, we're in. We'd have 10 wins, and there would be only five other NFC teams who could win 10. The 49ers can't do better than 9-7 as it is, and another loss for the Giants would make that true for them, too.

awesome.....so just beat the Skins, get in.....and then worry about the division the final week.

BTW....there is a chance if we win our last two games, we could end up playing the Eagles back to back in Dallas.

Bottom line is we control our own destiny for the division with 2 games to go. It doesn't matter if we go into the final game one game behind or tied with the E-Girls, the game still decides the division. We may be playing to see who gets the host the other one week later, right?
