Figure out how to stop the RPO

To defend the RPO you keep a spy w/speed that can tackle in the open field, then have the DE who is left unblocked ALWAYS hit the QB every time no matter what he does with the ball as he is acting as a runner at that point.

Spy is responsible for the back on the pitch. Spy shadows the QB and always goes with him which ever direction he goes but takes the "other" player.

Don't run lots of stunt, but keep everyone in their lanes and don't allow trapping cutbacks.

I agree, against teams like the eagles and giants I'm keeping Micah in the middle. Sure it can hurt your pass rush some, but I'd take my chances letting those QB's beat me with their arm. We have enough pass rushers to still get to teams qb's without Micah rushing. Put him in the middle and do some different things, you can still blitz him whenever you want.

LVE doesn't attack the line of scrimmage. So he will stop the RPO all by himself. He's a natural RPO nightmare.

And if they run the read option...you just send a guy to pop the QB every time.

you leave Micah at linebacker not out at the edge and if the offense can score points early, they stop running a gimmicky offense designed to shorten QB's careers in the NFL

One way to stop is to hit the QB regardless of whether he keeps it or hands it off. After a few hits, they'll get new ideas.

The Bears are not good. Seeing so many people act like the Bears have some lethal offense. They had almost 2 weeks to prepare for this game so they are going to look better than they have. This is the best game on offense they've play this year. Their offense is very lethargic and they are going up against our defense in less than a week. Not worried at all.

I don't want our team to sleep on any team. The Bears are a decent team. And the Cowboys should prepare for them like any other.

A decent team? I don't think so. They are comparable to the Commanders and they lost to them. I'm pretty sure the Cowboys are going to prepare for them.

Wether it’s the Read Option or RPO, our D has yet to play it well.

DeMarcus Ware always seemed completely lost against the read option, whether it was Vick or RG3

We'll see if our new Ware guy i.e. Micah is any better at it
So far it don’t look good

Good practice to get ready for the playoffs. Eagles, 49ers who run a lot of RPO, read option.
