I wanted to keep this as realistic as possible, used the consensus board on PFN:

2 Trades

Received 17 & 50 for 12 & 112 from Washington (they traded their original pick to Detroit) Washington took Lemon
Received 29 &40 from the Chiefs for 20 & 92. Chiefs took McCoy

17-Faulk DE Auburn
29-Hood CB Tenn
40-Rodriguez LB Texas Tech (Allen went to Bills at 26)
50-Scott Nickel Miami
152-Fisher LB Indy
177-Corleone NT Cincy
180-JC Davis G Auburn
218-Daniel WR Miami

Believe the defense has really be upgraded, a post draft trade for a pass rusher like Greenard/Sweat could really solidify our pass rush, which I wasn't able to address.

Faulk is the player I started out liking then listened to the general consensus that we needed speed on the edge and stopped looking at Faulk. But I believe he accomplishes the mantra stopped the run and he will develop into a quality DE. I really like this draft

Love your trade downs. Man I wish the Cowboys would do this and guarantee 3 starters for the defense.

I dislike it when people say he won't be there so I won't. The first 4 picks are golden.

Faulk had better stats than Mesidor in 2024 including 7 sacks. He'll probably never be a quick twitch rusher but he should be a good starter. He's also the culture type their looking for.

Really like Hood and he's probably the best one against the run.

Rodriguez will be making plays all over the field.

Scott is a very good fit for NB and the culture guy their looking for.

That would be a home run draft. It think those are good spots fir Rodriguez and Scott. Fisher would be good competition for Shemar James. Ultimately one of those two could get Overshown's spot

Looks good!

The DE trade would seal the deal for me.
Wanted to address pass rush, but without that 3rd rd pick was too late. Do however, believe they can pull another Pickens type trade post draft for one of those 2 who could be available. Downs was taken by the Giants, so my plan was to add multiple pieces.

It is very possible and the trade downs looked very realistic from what they were trading up for.

Front 7 would still be one good pass rusher away, but vastly improved. Run defense should be finally legitimate!

I like a lot of these guys but Faulk is not 1st rd material.
Faulk isn't my top choice, but after hearing that report this week, believe they are very interested. He does make a lot of sense in this new scheme and he is just 20 years old.

Fisher is another instinctive linebacker that processes well. Wanted to add an impact starter, along with adding more depth to the positional group that has very little.

After watching the Faulk tape, I have the same feeling as I did after watching the Mazi, Trysten, Taco tapes. I bet he'll be responsible for giving many OT's higher draft grades.

He's 6'6 280 ran a 4.67 40, 1.68 10ys, and 2.7 something 20 ys.
Those are the type numbers that got Leon Lett nicknamed the "big cat".
Difference, Leon was only in the the 260s coming out of Appalachian st and Faulk appears to have a brain residing in his noggin.
Kid has freakish speed for his size.
