Last crack at a mock before the draft next week. Trying to keep it realistic based on players the Cowboys have expressed interest in and players I like.

1. Will McDonald - DE
2. Luke Musgrave - TE
3. Tank Dell - WR
4. Byron Young - DT
5. Mekhi Garner - CB
6. Braeden Daniels - OL

Not bad.

Offense doesn’t get improved much though and we desperately need playmakers.

I think Dallas has to come out of this draft with a talented runner and one of these TEs.

McDonald

A RB

Then Tucker Kraft maybe

You don’t think Musgrave and Dell improve the offense?

I think Musgrave would give us a dynamic seam stretcher and Dell is arguably the most electric slot in the class

Musgrave I like.

I don’t know anything about Tank Dell.

I just started looking at players a couple weeks ago and I’ve tried to ignore the overall public opinion on guys.

I really like Will McDonald though. How does a guy like that go at the end of round 1? I could see KC trading up for him.

A lot of good players here, but no running back?

You’re right about McDonald…I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes eary.

Go check out Dell I think you’ll really like him. Think a more electric version of Beasley with big play ability. He had over 2K yards and 20+ TDs the last 2 years.

Yea, no RB in this scenario unless they want to take one in the 7th. Deep class but just like focusing on the other positions more.

I feel good rolling with TP as our horse and Davis / RoJo spelling him.

I’m watching him.

To me his initial burst off the line doesn’t look quick enough haha. I need to watch more though.

Like everything down field looks nice. Routes are nice.

But I think this guy has to make a living in the slot and so far I’m not seeing quick movement and change of direction in short areas to get open quick.

His arms look long though for a smaller guy.

His 1.49 10 yard split is no joke!

Pretty good first three picks, Garner is also.underrated.

Musgrave and Dell absolutely improve the offense. Getting Musgrave in 2 would be an excellent haul

Daniels isn’t bad, think he goes higher
Yea it was hard to slot him. Solid prospect that’s a little undersized and likely switching positions.

Probably a late mid rounder but could slide.

I honestly think we’re going to see good TE options in round 2/3. I have a weird hunch Musgrave could be there at 58.

Seen him as high as the 3rd rd and as low in the 7th rd. However, he isn’t the type they have been targeting this off-season, under 300lbs where they appear to want 330 plus power guards

I like the players but from team needs and what I've heard and read I can't see the Cowboys coming out of this draft without a RB, QB and starting guard. Nice work though.

Love the top 2 picks. Perfect example of going BPA early.Would probably go OL and RB in rounds 3 and 4 to cover needs tho.

Musgrave is injury prone and might need development time as he's kind of raw. Definitely talented though.

Dell? Ehhh. Size is a concern, he had his struggles at times in the combine, he's also raw. He's a guy you take and likely hope in a couple of years you can develop him into something. But he's likely not making much of an impact early.

That’s fair…a lot of RBs I like and I LOVE DTR as a QB prospect.

Hard to fit everyone in!
