This guy should be getting just as many snaps as Williams at this point. Great to see him bounce back from a couple bad weeks.

Would like to see the offense play more inspired, especially since they will have to with this defense/special teams. It's great to have success running the ball, but if we don't score consistently... we're not going to get very far against teams that can.

I agree. Would also love to see Escobar more involved. i am not sure what has happened to Williams. He has seemed to disappear the second half. Not sure if that is a game plan or defenses learning how to keep him contained. But we sure need some more weapons out there besides Bryant and Witten and that proved to be true tonight.

Williams with his finger issue has been too quiet...hopefully Beasley and Murray will make defenses shift their focus. Maybe this frees up William.

cole is an integral part to our success .

hopefully after tonight he will get many more passes his way.

having said that...williams was wide open tonight and romo did not even look his way.

All we need is a true Number 2.

Dez, True Number 2, and Cole in the slot. We will be deadly.

Williams is screwing things up for us.

He's probably in the doghouse w Romo for that non effort on the INT last game.

The way we run, play action will give us a huge empty space in the middle for TEs and slot receivers to exploit. I don't know why we don't run more routes to exploit the middle vacated by the LBs because of playaction.

I was happy to see them use more of the middle this game, that is encouraging. We saw what, a few screens, slants and short seam routes?

Frankly..

if we would play Beasley and Escobar more..

we might be able to speed up our offensive tempo more..

and we might be able to really let Romo cut loose more..

like Philly does to us

In fact.

Running a no huddle offense and going back to a Pistol offense with Harris..

like we ran some last year to get some teams reacting to the play calling..

might be advisable.

But hey..

I'm no coach.

Although I've been known to play one here at Cowboyszone.com.

I always thought the 12 personnel would be matched by a no huddle offense, not to be confused with a hurry up offense. It would mean we would keep the other team on the field, and keep matchups the way we wanted to, and being able to exploit teams however we would like.

Our best success happened early in the season when Williams was producing. Similar to his rookie year he disappeared in the second half of the season...

That should be troubling to us going forward, and should be addressed by getting another wide receiver at some point in the offseason next year to at least give him competition.

When they asked Romo about Beasley in the post game interview, he quickly mentioned that T. Williams was a great player also.
