Finally getting Beasley involved

There were a few times that Williams was just as open as others but Romo went to other guys. On a couple of Dez's catches, including his 40+ yarder T-Will was also open. Which is why Romo mentioned that Williams is doing great too but Romo has been getting the ball to other places right now.

This as well as I like they got Dez involved real early as well.

All we need is a true Number 2.

Dez, True Number 2, and Cole in the slot. We will be deadly.

Williams is screwing things up for us.

This has always been the excuse. TWill started off well like all our other number 2s. When we had TO, the idea that we needed a number 2 to free up the double-teams for TO to really make an impact was a mask for the passing designs. Crayton started off well, but his production dropped. We got Roy Williams. The problem with him is they thought he could be the number 1 and let go of TO. Then Miles Austin had that break-out game, where he simply broke tackles masking the issue again as simply a number #2.

Dallas needs to start attacking the middle of the field to force the defense out of deep cover 2 they always play against. They've got to be more creative.

Frankly..

if we would play Beasley and Escobar more..

we might be able to speed up our offensive tempo more..

and we might be able to really let Romo cut loose more..

Once the defense is built we can do that. Until then we stay run first.

Did anybody notice that Beasley wasn't in at the end of game? Harris was in the slot and he wasn't on the kickoff hands team..

Screwing things up? Tony completed 70% of his throws. He had no problem finding open guys. Everything is fine. Just catch it when it comes his way.

Not on Tony's end. Just us taking that next step to be a complete unstoppable powerhouse. Williams was supposed to give us that edge. He does not.

The way we run, play action will give us a huge empty space in the middle for TEs and slot receivers to exploit. I don't know why we don't run more routes to exploit the middle vacated by the LBs because of playaction.

Troy did the same things to younger players who made mistakes. It really doesn't help anyone in the long run though. Same thing happened to Marty Bennett and now Esco not getting first looks due to Witten being tunnel visioned.
