Finally the truth comes out, Eagles/Chip's offense

Well hopefully now the media will get off of the Chip Kelly bandwagon. I knew the Washington game was a farce. Their O widdled down against San Diego, then disappeared last night.

What are you going to focus on now, ESPN? A system only works if you have good players to run it.

Without McCoy, that offense doesn't score at all. It's only a matter of time until he goes to IR since he's being overused (bad knees).

I'm extremely happy today!!!

The apprehensions people have had are proving completely correct. The Eagles were just totally out of gas late in the third and through the fourth quarter...on both sides of the ball. Playing on a short week probably doesn't help, but that's the nature of the league.

One thing that is very clear. Washington has NO defense whatsoever. We should be able to put up at least 14 points on them.

I'm not so sure about that. That first week Chip Kelly ran an exhaustive amount of plays and Washington just wasn't ready for it. Week 2 they played one of the top offenses in the NFL in their house. Rodgers will make almost any team look silly in GB. This week will show if they have a decent defense or not.

They are giving up over 35 points a game. I've seen enough to conclude they suck and they suck BAD.

Ok, to each his own. The Packers would have hung over 35 points on us in GB too and I think the Eagles would have also done the same week one with with that scheme they ran.. but I don't think our defense sucks. With all that said.. believe me.. I hope you are right and I am wrong.

knowing our luck, the Chip Kelly O will be just as advertised when they play us, and the Washington D will shut us down when they play us.

you got it buddy. Divisional games play out quite differently.

Only turth I saw is Vick is not a very good QB. He is a great athlete but even that is starting to fade.

Vick is mediocre and needs to be severely managed.
After his 61 yard run he had no gas left and his throws went from on the money to 3 yards wide.

The more Vick is asked to do the worse he will be over the course of a game.
Vick should get 1st downs and get out of bounds.
Give himself a chance to succeed on the next play.

Hurry up offenses put pressure on both defenses.
The Eagles are a small defense now and susceptible to wearing down facing so many plays with such short offensive possessions on the other side.

If I am Dallas I force Vick to run. He may make a few big plays but chances are very good he'll also turn the ball over or end up injured.

I have just never been enamored with Vick as others have. I see him as a great athlete but never been impressed as a QB.
