All true but I don't understand the optimism/belief in romo. Recent history tells us he will get hurt or play poorly. He has only gotten older and football is a young man's game.
I nor anyone should discount romos contributions over the years. The thing is this league is all about what have you done lately, not what you have done in the past.
He may. I think (take that back) I know the Cowboys rushed Romo back from the collar bone injury. Hard to believe but Cowboys were still in the race when Tony returned in the Miami game.
I can't sit here and say Romo will light up the board vs Philly, I don't know what he will do. However if Romo wants to play in this game then I give him that he has earned that right. Personally I would not doubt Romo is the one pushing for playing time and if that the case let him get out there. If he plays you bet I'm pulling for him and I hope he can show his critics he still has game left in the tank.
This will not change my long term outlook regarding Dak, as far as I am concerned Dak is the QB of the Cowboys
