ie, the Barry Switzer effect. If you could put a drunk indian (no offense to drunk indians, just something my grandad used to say) behind the wheel of a ferrari going say 180 mph down a straightaway, that car will continue to go in a fairly straight path. But without some type of coherent guidence (Wade, I'm talking to you) it will eventually drift off course. (Washington, Arizona) and then crash and burn (St. Louis)

maybe because it isnt last yr anymore

maybe because he was hired almost solely because of his ability to transform an inconsistent, underachieving defense into a quality unit, and watched it get worse

maybe because he hired the league lousiest special teams coach, watched the guy suck last yr, did nothing about it and watched him suck even worse this yr

maybe because he cant motivate a flea to bite a dogs arse

maybe because THIS yr the team to date is a massive failure, and just got blown off the field by a doormat

not for firing at this time, but would surely demote to DC. we basically already have 2 HC's (WP/JG) and a sucky DC (BS) and even suckier ST coach.

..because when you have 13 pro bowlers. You shouldn't be 4-3 and losing to 1-5 teams, well a 2-5 team now. You shouldn't have as many regular season losses as you did last year. You shouldn't struggle to beat an 0-6 team AT HOME. You shouldn't allow 25 points a game...three hundred yards on defense.

When Wade wins 3 super bowls over 4 years, I'll give him a bad year mulligan .. until then ..
