We got stomped, with Brad Johnson as our starting quarterback. Is anyone really that surprised? Brad Johnson not only is not able to escape pressure (an essential attribute for any Dallas quarterback whose aim is success...), but he has, quite honestly, an embarrassingly weak arm. Bad, bad combination. Worst possible.
I still think our team is the best in the NFL. Simply put, people who are so down on our team to be calling for the firing of the head coach are absolutely caught in the moment, and not looking at the larger picture. There is one reason we lost against the Rams, and that is because we didn't have Tony Romo. Not Wade. Not Jason Garrett. Not Brian Stewart.
I honestly do not expect to win any games that Tony Romo does not start. He, alone, is what takes this team from being a below average football team to the best football team in the NFL.
