If the Patriots lose this game, do you think all Patriot fans will be calling for Belicheats head? They too will lose 3 of their last 4.

And if you use the Brady excuse, then give Wade the excuse that he has Newman, Felix, Romo, Roy W., Pacman, out.
Um......Belicheat is a HOF with multiple SB Rings. Wade has nothing. To compare the two is apples and oranges.

13-3 is irrelevant. He's 4-3 with a sloppy team that quit on him.

Gone!

Or he's 4-3 with a fighting team that very easily could be 6-1.

We got stomped, with Brad Johnson as our starting quarterback. Is anyone really that surprised? Brad Johnson not only is not able to escape pressure (an essential attribute for any Dallas quarterback whose aim is success...), but he has, quite honestly, an embarrassingly weak arm. Bad, bad combination. Worst possible.

I still think our team is the best in the NFL. Simply put, people who are so down on our team to be calling for the firing of the head coach are absolutely caught in the moment, and not looking at the larger picture. There is one reason we lost against the Rams, and that is because we didn't have Tony Romo. Not Wade. Not Jason Garrett. Not Brian Stewart.

I honestly do not expect to win any games that Tony Romo does not start. He, alone, is what takes this team from being a below average football team to the best football team in the NFL.

Brad Johnson is also the only player on your team with a SB ring. I had to get a jab in, but seriously, BJ was not the Cowboys problem against the Rams, the defense was, as it has been most of this season.

I understand losing Romo hurts the team but the Rams crucified your D. That was the biggest problem on Sunday.

Considering the NFL doesn't average records over a two-season period to determine who makes the playoffs, the real question must be...what have you done for me lately?

Answer: Not much, except to make us the laughing stock of the league.

Hey guys, first post here...

It seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction to fire Wade (as much as I don't like his laid-back attitude)...I think the rot is much deeper than the head coach. All of the players and most of the coaching staff and even Jerry have a lackadaisical attitude. Getting rid of the coach just changes the scheme, all of the players that don't care will still be here.

Because he's 6-6 in his last 12 games with arguably one of the most talented teams in the league.

Really? When's that from? Oh, 6 years ago? Probably not a very useful indication of how he's playing now, at 40.

Our defense didn't play well. But our offense going three and out after three and out, and turning the ball over in our territory 3 times in the first quarter was a major contributing factor to things snowballing on the defense.

As I said, that game would have looked entirely different with Romo in there. It certainly would not have been 21-7 in the first quarter. And even if it did happen to get to that point, we'd come back, because Romo actually has the ability to.

4-3 this year with a talented team.
0-4 (soon to be 0-5) as a HC in the playoffs.
Gutless.
No fire.

it is hard for any defense to stop teams when they are on the 20 yard line

Last time I checked, he's 4-3 with 3 losses in the last 4 games with his team getting progressively worse each game.

Fair enough. I am not arguing that losing Romo hasn't hurt, more that the D needs work. I said earlier this week that the 1,3,& 5 picks would have been better spent on D than Roy.

And FWIW I am not just here to get in digs. I enjoy this board.

Thats the point.

And whats more he admitted that this season is a whole new season and we can't rely on the success we had last year. He should be judged exactly that way.

Is he going 13-3 this year too? Stop living in the past while the present is going all to hell.

Why change hoss in midstream, you ask? Well, when that hoss won't discipline his players and has lost whatever semblence of control he ever had, it's time to change. Look at the situation in St. Louis. Did the firing of Linehan and promotion of Haslett make the team worse? No, it made it better. That is the power of experience (the good kind). From the looks of it, Wade has none.
