zone is just giving easy yardsI figure a defensive coordinator would have enough sense to at least tell his corners to play closer to Carolina wide receivers, instead of 8 to 10 yards off the receiver. I would have to agree with you on some of the roster however, Elam, Diggs and Donavan Wilson are terrible in the secondary. Dallas needs a real middle linebacker bad, that is a missing piece as well. I don't like this zone scheme that Eberflus is running, I think he needs to be fired.
Our best player whose function is the most critical for the entire scheme to work.Traded our best player on the defense one week before the season began. All-time dumb moves.
Jerry tried to sell the fans on Clark being a great run stopperOur best player whose function is the most critical for the entire scheme to work.
No pressure on the QB means the zone will never work.
The failure of the defense is as much on Jerry as anyone.
True, and we fail at that as well.Jerry tried to sell the fans on Clark being a great run stopper
No. But that's in part to the defensive coordinators telling Jerry and Stephen that that they don't need a big MLB and instead bring in all these weak fast guys that Rico bowled over easily. Rico carrying these guys 3 yards or more every time.Honest question: do you think we have the players to successfully execute any defensive scheme?
If we fired this clown and didn't have anyone that could call the game defensively, would we even notice the difference? Rowdy could probably call a better defense. A lot of this is talent, but we don't have the personnel for what Everflushed is trying to run (an outdated defense anyway)If we fired this clown do we have anyone on the staff that can call a game? These are Flus guys that he brought with him on defense for the most part, I believe. We might be stuck with him until after this season.
I expect that we will have another DC next year but is he the real problem ? Carolinas OL and Rico destroyed our DL and LBs not for a lack of effort but a lack of talent. On that last drive Eberfus lol had 5 DL with their hands on the ground on 1st and 2nd down and they still could not stop Rico. Will a different DC be able to get more out of our current talent level ? Im not sure. Thankfully we will have 4 1st round picks over the next two draft cycles. You can't have your offense score 27 - 30 points a game and still lose....period.
Dont get me started Frog. Jerah is most definitely a problem and today he knows it.fire the GM who built this team with no defense
Thats not a bad point they should have been in cov 1 press in that situation IF and I say IF we could stop the run which we couldnt even with 5 DL men with their hand in the ground. When you cant stop the run youll never stop the passing game..I’m a 31 year old who played high school football, but I have zero coaching experience. I literally called that slant across the middle on 4th down before it happened because our dumb a*** DB was lined 10 yards off with only 3 yards to go for them. That comes down to coaching period.
Jerah doesnt believe coaching matters thats why he hired Switzer after Jimmy left, to prove coaching doesnt matter. He was a comfort hire. That’s literally all Jerry cares about at this point in life.
I thought we got descent pressure in most cases with our current talent level. I was pleased. When you cant sniff the QB with any rush, thats bad players..sorry no scheme says "Dont get pressure on the QB"
Really, you think Jerah who doesnt believe coaching matters will make a change midseason ? Please dont hold your breath.Eberflus won't be on the team next Sunday and well have one less draft pick and a new defensive starter.
He's worse than Mike NolanEflerbus had been a complete failure
Don’t even let that scrub ride the plane home, don’t even let go home with a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt
