Thank you..........end of story.............nothing to see here.

I love watching Jaworski's analysis of plays and the way he explains things in regular terms so even my wife can understand it. Questionable opinions aside, I like his analysis.

They've won three in a row, we have won five of six, yet they are on a bigger role than we are?

They're on a roll. This isn't a competition.

this guy seriously makes me sick every single week. this week just tipped the icing on the cake...all the hating on the cowboys is ridiculous and he should be told that he doesnt play for the eagles anymore! he just said with confidence that the philthy eagles are going to come into dallas and BEAT the cowboys! he gave no reasoning for his opinion and just sounds stupid...the homerism is making me throw up. Why not fire this guy? i know irvin gives his love for the boys but he doesn't go overboard like JAWS. You are supposed to be an ANALYST, not a fan for the team you played for (and stunk by the way). I could complain all night about this guy but my main point is...i hope the cowboys watched that clip of jaws so they will shut him and the eagles up for good...man. :banghead:
Threads like this seriously make me sick (although I guess that makes me a bit of a masochist, as I can't help reading and responding to them.)

After watching Jaws and Ditka both pick the Eagles, I have to admit I was fuming. But to be fair, we were the pick de jour when we had won 4 in a row, and we were all eating it up. , even Goose had us in the Superbowl. I'd rather not be the media darlings right now. Believe in Bill. He will have us ready. Media darlings or not.

I really, really, really cannot understand why people allow themselves to get upset over the predictions of television pundits. It baffles me.

I agree. The "MUTE" and/or "Power" buttons on your TV are your friends.

So what? Didnt you hear Jimmy Johnson yesterday on FOX claiming that the Eagles had no chance? Both have their opinions just like i have mine. I agree with Johnson!:laugh1:

Yesterday Jimmy reminded of a guy who was sick of being on the set with those guys and was ready to take over a football team.....I just can't think of who.....:starspin

He probably still has his Cowboys shirt from 1992 on under his suit. He is probably ready to tear off his suit and pounce on the Cowboys sideline on a moment's notice.

I can understand both sides although I guess I'd be on your side of the equation.

As one said on this thread, he likes Jaws' analysis. I do as well. But he gets so hyper I get tempted to change the channel. I don't think I should allow myself to get that annoyed with him but to be honest I do. Bradshaw gets to me a little as well but he does have a reason (ADD) and he's just likeable.

I don't understand why the poster's opinion bothers anyone. If you are on him for being tired of Jaws then why post he should get over it?? Just turn the television...I been thread off. ;)

I like the show and put up with some I don't think. I could change the channel but I'm not *****ing.

Jaws being the ultimate homer is really nothing new.

The Eagles could start off with 6 or 7 straight losses and he would believe that they would have some great comeback and win the division and then the Superbowl.

He has an opinion different than yours, OH NO! HE HATES US! STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, he is a reknowned Eagles homer and hates the Cowboys, mostly because we ran up the score on him in a game back in the 80s when he was the QB for Philly.

i think jaws knows if he doesn't he will be booed/heckled/taunted/tormented/abused/assaulted/killed etc etc

by the philly faithful, so reallly, he's just being smart.

but i agree that is is shameful to have a national host with THAT MUCH homerism at all times.

but espn looks more like a college-run station every day, anyways.

So Jaworksi is an Eagles homer. Big Deal. So is Irvin, Young, Jackson and Berman. What sets Jaworski apart from those two is his excellent work on NFL Matchup. Probably the best in the biz in breaking down film and making it coimprehensible to the average fan. Fire Jaworski? Fox, CBS, NBC, and the NFL Network would fall all over themselves to hire him.

If it matters, I remember specifically when Carolina and Philadelphia were playing a couple weeks ago he was on PTI and they were giving him a hard time about how he would probably pick the Eagles, this is when the Eagles looked like goners without McChoke and Carolina was still considered decent, but he said no and took the Panthers, they were all going whoa etc laughing about it, the Eagles ended up winning.

The only analyst/whatever that really bothers me is that Skip Bayless, he can turn anything into an anti-Cowboys or Jerry Jones issue, even Lamar Hunt's passing. It's not like others who just have a favorite team which isn't so bad, he actually goes out of his way to say whatever moronic nonsensicle junk he can bad about Dallas, atleast Jaws played and knows what he's talking about.

Yeah, Bayless should be fired. He brings a big bag o' nothing to ESPN.

There are many things that bother me about the various pre-game shows, including some really annoying pundits. However, their game predictions don't bother me at all. As for reading and replying to silly threads like this, I fully admit to my morbid curiosity towards idiocy. I know that probably condemns me as much as the original poster, but I make no claims to being objective.

To be honest i dont think homerism is the big problem. The bandwagoning is whats driving me nuts!! :banghead:

They need to stop annointing teams, and players so quickly! Yes, the Romo press was over the top. Yes, the saints press was also over the top after last week. Its really making me lose faith in the media regarding the nfl.

Totally agree.....earlier in the season, it was all about the Colts....then we beat them and went on our little streak and we were the talk of the town....then it was temporarily the Saints.....and now it's the Chargers.....it'll change again.
