I finally have to cave and say it's time for Jason to head out. This team looked way too soft at this time of year to be fully behind the coach or the coach is setting a soft message. Either way this team is too weak and it's time to get someone with a heavy hand in here. The offense is predictable and has been for years now and that's another check mark in the negative category. I am just really disappointed in how cuddly this team looked tonight. Example, Murray had a great rushing night but ran out of bounds A LOT and didn't punish the defenders in the cold at all.

The defense has been killed with injuries but every team has to go through that. Scandrick was weak sauce on coverage and Carr was a cushy pillow in coverage and tackling. Ware is on the down hill slide and I say we trade him now for whatever we can get. Carter is lost and the rest of the defense are folks that you have never heard of or probably won't hear much from later. I will continue to pray for Lee. Kiffin is out of his element but I would definitely keep Marinelli.

I would love to get Gruden in here. I think he would at least be honest with the players about how they are performing and make them more accountable. Marinelli is either promoted to coordinator or we get a hard case in here for this defense. Fill in the defense with free agents and later round picks as a stop gap. Build out the offensive line through early draft picks as we have skill position players now and for the next 3-4 years. I'd also get another trainer in here that has a specialty with hamstrings.

Can't fix Jerry so we have to hope other things get fixed.

If he chokes the division away this year he'll be lucky if he ever gets another opportunity as the head coach.

Why even worry about it.

This whole staff is getting fired and there is zero question about it.

It's a really bad staff with a poor front office above it.

Whole staff is out without question.

The only hope for us as fans is maybe that Jerry concedes power again and hires competent people.

But oil men are some of the worst people walking he earth and that is what the jones family is.

This is the worst coached Cowboys team I can ever remember seeing. Considering the talent differential between this and the Campo years, he's actually making Campo look like Vince Lombardi. We have not measurably improved in any facet of the game in his tenure. His coaching hires have been an abomination and his (and Jerry's) personnel decisions have left this team devoid of depth and flat out lacking talent at several positions.

They weren't soft. They just have defensive players that don't belong in the NFL. Ware is soft, ill give you that.

We're in the morbid and uncomfortable position of waiting for a man to die. It's an ugly thought, one I don't feel right thinking, but it is an ugly truth. The Raiders did it with Al, and now here we are.

Jerry stepping down is the only hope, and that ain't happening. His day to day influence has waned under Garrett, but his player decisions and aura linger over this team like a fart in a sleeping bag.
