I won't...probably just like the thousands and thousands and thousands of other fans that are not crybabies because their football team did not win the SB.

I'll wallow in the excitement of things to come or not come, while you wallow in pity!

Deal?

hey berg, this guy is also one of the top posters in the Jerry threads. I mean he not only tells the truth but also brings comedy and photography to the discussion. (dick vitale voice) IT'S AWESOME BABY!

Aw shucks. I'm blushing. When it comes to the Jerryphiles, this is the appropriate response:

The dirty little (open) secret is that they don't want a new GM. The "futility" argument is just window dressing. They don't think it's merely "futile" to demote one man; they actually think it's wrong. They actually believe he's done a bang-up job as GM and should retain said job on merit. This is a minority opinion everywhere else in the world (thank God), but it's conventional wisdom in these parts. That's what we're dealing with.

Super Bowl? Jerry can't even get a team to win a playoff game in over a decade. Of course I'm sure you don't mind, since you are obviously more a fan of Jerry than the Cowboys.

Well, if this thread were a representative sample, then I'd say 75% or higher.

and what faith do you have he'll change if you keep saying how bad he is?

you *ASSume* once again that since i'm not at your side going JERRY SUCKS! i'm in his hip pocket.

my purchases of cowboys stuff is down several hundred percent. now when i watch the game i just watch and see what happens. it's just entertainment to me, not religion.

you don't seem to know why i ... argue, bb. so please don't assume it's simply blind faith.

and good to know i'm the only whiner and you're some truth magnet.

The problem with that is the team Jerry has put together is actually pretty good.

I mean, the team had a winning record at 9-7. The paper bags for the Saints were when the team was winning 2 or 3 games every freaking year.

Any fan wearing a bag on their head when the team actually has a winning record is going to look like a complete dumb arse!!!

We were also 6-2 at home this year, and the losses came down to the wire. So how exactly are you going to be wearing a bag on your head when the team is actually winning the game???

Again, the score is 21-3 with Dallas beating the Skins and a fan is sitting there with a bag on his head. That fan is not getting a message across, he is looking like a complete dumb arse!!!

Paper bags only work when you suck, not when you post winning seasons every year.

No offense to you, I am just saying.
Ah, but if you're a true zealot with a worthy enough cause, being called a complete dumb arse is a sacrifice worth making.

That's my point. If there are folks who REALLY want to force Jones to change, they wouldn't stand behind strategies doomed to fail before they are even created. Billboards? Letters? Please. That's akin to purchasing a lottery ticket with prior knowledge of the winning numbers and picking all wrong numbers instead.

If the cause is just, stand on the frontlines. Wear a bag over your head, face ridicule, but know full well that when the team falls short of its goals yet again, you, the zealot, will have the last laugh AND the whole world will have gotten your message many times over.

FIGHT THE POWER!

and now he brings animated gifs to the discussion. incredible!

to the part in bold it's just crazy to me. I think they just see all the talented players but not the big picture.

that part in bold to me was just stupid and pure speculation he's trying to "will" into being true.
