If Jerry really wanted to make a statement he would fire salary cap boy. Stephen is the one who is bargain bin shopping. Stephen blew the dak contract negotiations. Stephen is the one who is trying to sign vets like Bobby wagoner and Shaq Leonard with a ham Sandwich for an offer. Stephen is everything wrong with this franchise. Nepotism has set the culture. If Jerry really wants to win. He will fire his son.

Hahahahaha this made me laugh

Not because you aren’t right..but you know why

You know that's as likely to happen, as Jerry admitting he's a crap GM.

So you think Stephen Jones had something to do with yesterday's loss?
Really?
Was he playing?
Coaching?
You could pick any of 50 people that are more to blame than him

You guys have your scapegoats and never let up.

If anything it’ll be Stephen firing Jerry lol.

Don’t forget that they both think the other is the smartest person on earth.

They think more of themselves is the answer.

Prepare to hear the “ruhl uhp ahr sleeves” comment soon.

I was thinking the same Stephen Jones seems to be too opposite of Jerry Jones with money. Jerry would over pay. Stephen think you can sign players who can play for nothing. We should of tried like heck to get Bobby Wagner who proved to everyone this year he still has it. We knew we needed linebackers and we dropped the ball in the offseason. Stephen could single handedly run the Cowboys into the ground with him being so cheap.

I'm patiently waiting for a "Fire Mike McCord" thread.

But somebody has to do the laundry.

If you yahoos only knew the specifics of how awful Stephen is at negotiating player contracts.

He should have been reassigned to marketing or fan engagement or custodial management at the Star.

He is a glaring deficiency for this Front Office.

What is a GMs job

Bring in good coaches
Bring in good talent
Manage the cap

Compared to 32 teams in the league this year, how do you think Dallas stacked up in those areas? and don't kneejerk and base it all on one game.

Is the roster top 10? Most certainly think so. Even if they do have hole like every other team does. There are some better, there are way more far worse.

Do McCarthy and Quinn stack up as coaches? Most would say they too are a top 10 combo. Some are better, more are worse.

I can't explain yesterday. No idea what happened.
Dak sucked beyond belief and the entire defense was even worse than him. But that wasn't Stephen Jones' fault. Good grief

Jerry: "There is no use "circumsizing the mosquito" on this. There is no one good enough to take the last spot"

Did he help pick the players?
Did he help pick the coaches?

Yes

He isn’t a scapegoat. You can’t scapegoat people who are ACTUALLY responsible for something.

Jerry..... "After this year's complete failure in the playoffs, I have decided to step down as the GM of the Dallas Cowboys. I have admittedly not been a good GM for this proud franchise. At this time, I would like to introduce the next GM of the Dallas Cowboys......My son Stephen Jones"

Do you really think the Cowboys have a crap roster and coaching staff?
really?

THEY are the ones that underperformed to their abilities, not the GM yesterday

Stephen is that you. Don’t worry son Even if daddy does fire you from your current position, you will always have a job at the ticket counter

I've never wanted Jerry or Stephen as GM.

But I just don't see this as being on them this time.

9 All Pros on the roster. Not the bs Pro Bowl...but All Pros.
The most of any Cowboy team
THEY failed.
