That seems to be the solution because many feel this team is underachieving for the talent level and I partially agree, they should be 6-3 with a win over NYJ.

The majority of the blame goes to Garrett, and I can't argue that he's not a great HC and not really even good as a sideline coach, with a little left over for Marinelli but what seems to be missing are the real culprits in this crime, if you really think this team is the most talented in the NFC.

What about the players? The missed blocks and tackles, the basic fundamentals of the game. All off season, I asked that you keep in mind execution when evaluating Young Kellen and that also applies to Marinelli and Richard.

Put yourself in any coach's shoes on this team. The GM keeps the HC around for his own comfort level, if the Joneses insinuate there's an issue it's more coaching than the players and in fact make excuses for them and every player on that team knows who they really play for because he's around all the time to remind them of that. They don't see their coach as the spokesperson of the team as the other 31 teams do, they see the guy that signs their checks. The guy that doesn't hold them accountable.

Add to this all of these talk shows calling for Garrett's head and who conveniently slides out of view? The players. Just as they did back when that "reliable source" stuff with Werder was going on. A very convenient attention diversion from one of the real problems, player execution and mental mistakes.

I still do not think Garrett gets his ticket punched on the 3:10 to Yuma but if he does, there will be much celebration here that the wicked witch is dead but is he the real wicked witch? Think he's the one enabling and excusing players not doing their jobs?

Excellent write-up coach. Your best works comes when you're not wearing pants. We all know that.

Of course it all comes down to the Jones's ....... But they are not going anywhere for at least another 20 years ........ Best we can hope for is a coach who is good enough to win in spite of them ...... And that is not this current staff.

I always like to say multiple factors, aka “Death by 1,000 cuts”!

I think we just want to see accountability. If you fire the special teams coach, at least that sends some kind of message that what you do on sunday matters.

All these guys might be losing their jobs anyway if this team doesn't make a dent in the playoffs.

I agree, for the most part. But the Jets game isn't the only one they should have won with better coaching.

They could have, and should have beaten the Vikings. Yes, the defense looked like they were trying to tackle greased pigs on ice, but the beginning and end of the game was mainly on coaching decisions.

Going for a 57 yd FG in the first quarter? Stupid.
Running the ball on 2nd and 3rd down, (or giving Dak the option, if you believe that) after the running game was useless for 58 minutes, while they were completing passes nearly at will? Stupid
Telling Austin to fair catch, when most of the kicking team is going to be trying to prevent a blocked kick. Stupid

I am sick and tired of Garrett and I have been for years. I was calling for him to be gone before the season and then after the losses early this season. He has to go. He should have been gone. With him, we stand no chance and I believe that it is too late to change the outcome of this season. Another season with a lot of talent gone up in smoke. Lets not talk about who else is to blame. We see ineptitude at the helm..........is that not enough for you?

Enough, axe him now. I don't care if there is a HC. We need his influence out of that locker room and off of that side line. Let the the ACs guide the team for the rest of the year.

I CANNOT tolerate the waste of talent we have seen on this team.

I am at a point that I will simply not watch this team as long as Garrett is the HC. Why? Frustrate myself. I stopped watching early in 3rd quarter because I knew we were going to lose. With him at the helm we stand no chance. We could take a third of the coaches in this league and they would exceed Garrett's performance easily.

I'm done. I officially surrender.

This is a snake that you can’t cut the head off of. So, you drop down a few notches and whack it there and hope it does the trick.

jimmy and bill had no problem calling out a player who wasn't giving his all. (re: asthma field) when has garrett ever done this? the firing of garrett would be tantamount to the rapture for the players.

Fire all the muppets...coaching deficiencies are really shining through all over this season. They are in trouble if the team continues this. Even Jerry can't stand it in my opinion.

Lets say we are not overrating the roster and that they are underperforming.. that falls on the head coach in my opinion. There is a cocky atmosphere in the locker-room, even being 5-4.. These guys are acting like they are hot-**** and that it will all be fine if they just play focused. They know they can beat anyone when focused. Why aren't they focused all the time? I point to Jason Garrett.

i put a lot of blame on Richarrd too...why cant Chido learn to turn his head around to intercept ball?... and Jones has not had an INT since november 2017...that is two years...and they have figurned out Marinelli. on the D-Line...learned to use our over aggressive attack against us and run us over...get rid of them all i say

stilleto i am so so so ticked off

For some reason the title of the thread had me singing uncle ted's free for all in my head.

With better coaching over the last decade, we have at least one more ring. There isn't one coach on this staff who should remain, unless you want to make a case to see what Kris can do without the old man waddling around him.

Nah, I've seen enough. I'd like to see a strong coaching hire and the new coach bring in all new people he wants...
